real art-fans and non alike know that all clocks are cool, when properly
refridgerated. The fly in the hourglass slides down all too slowly,
when you know that the time has come for the number of the beast to run
away from the number of flies.

Tick Tock goes the clock, as my mind is lost eternally. Merry christmas
to all, and felizes navidades a mis hombres y mujeres en todas partes
del mundo.

Hi,

You are probably referring to "The Persistence of Memory" (1931, oil on
canvas, 9.5" x 13"). It is at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Have a look at "A Docent's Tour of Salvador Dali Resources" at
http://www.empower.net/dali/dalimain.html The painting is shown and
discussed at http://www.empower.net/dali/memory.html

Also have a look at the Salvador Dali Musem of St. Petersburg Florida at
http://www.webcoast.com/Dali/

Yours truly,
David Cusimano.

J.
There are several works by Dali that use the theme of melting
clocks. One such
painting is titled, "The Chromosome of a Highly Colored Fish's Eye
Starting the
Harmonious Desintegration of the Persistence of Memory."
As for finding paintings by Dali on the internet, use a serch engine
like Yahoo.

the original famous melted clock painting is called "The Persistence of
Memory"...
And if you wish to see it for real...
It is in the MOMA in New York...
As myron says it is best to just use the search engines for internet
views.

I can also recommend the short sonic piece "Persistence of FM" which is on
the album "Flee Past's Ape Elf" by Orchid Spangiafora. No really!
