Thought your name read Terrance Lindall when I first saw it, but now I'm
not sure. Your website suggests that you consider surrealism to be art
and dead (since you're trying to resurrect it).

The question I'd like to ask is: have they read the Manifestoes of Surrealism?

Perhaps they are nu-surrealists, and don't need any of
your dusty old manifestoes.

Or perhaps they are Nu-Srealists and don’t read much of anything at all.
I guess we’ll never know.

Changing the subject, whilst visiting Budapest recently I went to
see a couple of museums I thought worth a mention, even if the
nu-surrealists wouldn't agree. The first was the Vasarely, who was
some kind of Hungarian father of op-art; the second that of Kassak,
an avant-garde bloke from the early part of the last century.
Vasarely's stuff was kind of fun, in that op-art sort of way; but
I preferred Kassak's graphic stuff, although his paintings were
(are) a bit pointless.
I'll amuse myself by looking about a bit on the web for more stuff.
Anyone else heard of these guys? I confess I hadn't until looking in
a list of Budapest museums.

They might be newsreelists who spend all their time watching Movietone
news footage of nurses on Guadalcanal.
I was interested in Vasarely during my OP faze... at the time I spent
many care free hours staring at his and Bridget Reilly's works.
Kassak I never came across, but thanks for turning me on to him. I could
only find collages though, the paintings eluded me.
