Happy New Years to all and I hope to post more to the group in 2010.
Jeff
Nice, sounds like you scored in spades.
Best surf trip ever.
If you go into the big white house at Sunzal talk to Joe about a place
to stay. At $15 a night it's more pricey than anywhere around, but you
wake up in a room overlooking the break.
An M-80...?
You're so old you must be being towed into the first of the bigger
waves... and the driver then has time to report to a full-time gig,
get home, eat, beat the kids, watch a few sitcoms, service the little
woman and still arrive back at the beach just before you wash ashore
gasping for breath, spitting sand and grinning like some idiot under
the impression that he's having fun...
Just my speed.
Do they got enough pipe down there to up some pics to somewhere a tad
and a half more distant from the center of the middle of nowhere?

gpsman You sound like a middle age out of shape guy with some serious
anger issues, or perhaps you're less endowed in the male parts than
the average person. Big pharma has a pill for whatever psychological
or physiological problem you might have. Internet penis size
comparisons are so lame, so take it somewhere else You're extremely
rude.. My dad wrote about a fun trip to El Salvador, and nothing
more.
John Watson
Sounds like he might have pulled you out of 5th grade for a couple
days you couldn't afford to miss.

Sounds like you're a Neanderthal with an IQ less than a Rhesus
monkey....Actually, I did take a few days out of 5th grade to go to
the camp at Tavarua. My dad's cool like that.....we go on trips to
places and don't start shit with people we don't know as it's just bad
manners to come out swinging with the insults like you did with my
dad. I don't know you, but speculate that you couldn't even fill his
shadow. Insecurity breeds insults. As far as my education goes I
will bet you any amount of money that my CV is better than yours.
Your stupid, unwarranted insults are an indicator of your lack of
confidence, surfing ability and manners.
John
uh huh...

Lucky guess on my part, I reckon.

Yes, that evidence is overwhelming.

Interesting perspective.

What does 5th grade pay these days...?

Well, now you've given me pause to contemplate what you might consider
warranted insults... interrupting wondering why you left your option
open to go on trips and start shit with people you do know.
I think my ridiculously gross exaggeration, "Just my speed", and
request for pics might most strongly suggest an attempt at humor was
more likely intended than insult.
Your rushes to "defend" your dad are adorable, the waves of irony
contained within notwithstanding, but I assure you no insult was
intended, and if you'll pardon the expression, you've gone off half-
cocked.
Pretty soon, I imagine and hope, Dad will explain how very often
things are not as they might first appear, perhaps never more so than
when attempting to interpret the intent of others; how important it is
to endeavor to never react emotionally when your emotions are
screaming their loudest for immediate action, and how insignificant
are insults from persons unknown delivered via Usenet.
I recommend you follow the example he has set for you here in this
matter.
Sincerely.

jboy,
I'm a little late on this, but was just reading it due to Andy's
diligence. You're father and alt.surfing go way back and he has posted
some great, stoked stuff bout Fla. and you moving to Mass. to go to
school (Harvard? or MIT?). I told him where you could surf in Mass.
and New England -- vaguely...there are waves anywhere you know when
and where to look. I think it was you. Your Dad Jeff used to talk
about this anyway.
You should do a little research here. You're bragging in like your
second post. Hint: nobody cares about your "education." I've done my
fair share of bragging here too, but tend to post surf pix and stories
a bit more often.
So...please post in 2010. We need candidates for ASKOTY this year.
Never too early.
That said, I sincerely wish you luck and success in your surfing and
academic endeavours.

That's "your" haha, never fails. ;)
