Just wanted to drop a line with the new URL for Adrift Chronicles.
With the site having a real web host now, we're going to be putting in
a lot of new content, as well as restyling and reworking some of the
other aspects. I am also look for exposure for the site, so I was
wondering if perhaps some of you with sites of your own would mine
putting Adrift in your links page. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Surf wise... heh, Spring is in the air!

I am also surprised that none of the alt.surfing crossover crew
dropped a post I made on the surfermag.com bb here. Figured with some
of the content, superfly and the rest would have a field day picking
through it.

I knew I could count on you Tim. Thanks.

It's true though, I hated that wetsuit! Back when Surf Plus was still
in existence in Santa Rosa, that was where I used to go to pick up my
gear. They didn't happen to have the suit I was looking for, but there
were options. Had heard the "new" 4/3 horizontal zip suits from
Billabong were a good choice. Great for paddling, a tad more flexible
than the back zips of the time and blah, blah, blah. Figured why not.
I tried other suits, and then tried on the Billabong. It was kind of
hard to get horizontal zip to go all the way across, but I reasoned
with myself that it was a decent suit for the price and that I would
be able to figure out a quick method for the zip up. Naive I guess.

The suit was horrible. It took too much time to zip and there wasn't
any kind of method to remedy that problem, and when the surf was
firing, the last thing I wanted to do was fumble around with a God
damn zipper. It wasn't very flexible, but the horizontal feature did
made paddling a bit easier. Sort of anyway. So I saved up my money and
wound up getting a 4/3 Hotline Airfighter about a year or so later.
Man, what a huge difference. I never bought another Billabong suit
after that experience.

k, got 4-6 ultra glass @ the st**p wednesday,
like butter. grey waves against grey ocean on
grey sky. you could set your watch by the waves.
machine like. haven't surfed it in 3 years. got my
first ever standup wave there years ago. just me
and one other. like the old days. got a little excited.
pulled a floater onto cobblestones on my last
wave. wrecked the nose of my board. would do
it all over again. like unprotected sex w/a super
vixen. but better. excuse me while I kiss the sky...

I suppose it will be some time before you get any
surf, do any website updates, or post to AS, since
you left for boot camp today.
