Yes! Bad weekend though. Dwindling windswell. Don't think I can make it
tomorrow. I'm busy Saturday too. Email me and I can pass my phone
number.

Good of you to check in and update us. This place only gets even more
starved for content when you are not around. A few near random comments
on your recent body of work:

Who da guy with the canoe paddle? Laird does that at Malibu. I hope
that doesn't catch on generally. Things could get ugly.

Uh oh! When old guys start telling that hackneyed "surf was bigger and
gnarlier in my youth than it is today" story, my BS detector starts
going !!!WOOP WOOP WOOP!!!

Hmmm. When you said that Town waves are never as powerful as Country
waves you must not have been thinking of ones like this. Looks like
inside Sunset in reverse to me?
Give me heads up when ever you may make it to the west coast with your
family. We got to get to the beach with our cute kids together some
day.
Happy fall,
Surfer Bob
When they had Bill Romonowski (the 'roided football player)
on 60 minutes a few weeks ago they showed a brief clip of
him doing that in Santa Cruz.
So it's ugly already!

Not to mention, that the thug was shown dropping in on
someone else. Pretty pathetic, when you use a paddle
and still can't take off on the outside.
OTOH, most pro athletes are thugs, anyway.
Seems the 'stand-up' paddle thing *is*
spreading.
Here's an East Coast practitioner:

Actually that's a Bolsa Chica Nigerian Red Banded Salt Water Marsh Snake
Swatter.
Expect to see an explosion in their use in the Huntington area.

I've played hoops, have socialized with, and worked around
prolly 3 dozen pro fballers from the 1970s to 2000, from
the niners, raiders, chargers, rams, dolphins.
only met one 'thug' that I remember, he was truly
nuts and should have been jailed at the time.
I do know another 'thug' who's a current ASer but
his pro football career was fairly brief. :^)
I once drove past jason kidd aty my local gym and scored on him. I got skeeelz
