Were set waves "recognised" in the 4th century BCE?

Set waves have always existed but when were they first identified as
such?
My guess is that the earliest extant reference is the following.
Can anyone find any earlier references?

Plato, Euthydemus 293a (trans. Lamb) (Greek philosopher C4th B.C.) :

"As though I were calling upon the Dioskouroi to save us,
the lad and myself, from the mighty wave [literally 'the big wave that
comes in every three']."
