i'm post vas 8 months. i still have a little pain in my left testicle from
time to time. it also feels like there is an earthworm on the side of my
testicle. i only notice it when i haven't ejaculated in a few days. is
it just pressure built up in the tube?

I had similar experience (minus the earthworm!--lol) after my
vasectomy. Ejac. did help--a better cure than most! My guess is the
"earthworm" is a slightly swollen epidydimus. The epidydimi are tiny
tubules attached to the testicle where sperm are normally matured
before ejaculation. After vasectomy, it is not uncommon for the epi to
swell as the body gears up to absorb blocked sperm, especially in men
who have the traditional "close ended" version of vas. I think ejac.
sometimes helps because the contractions that occur can force some
blocked sperm through tiny fissues in the sealed vas tubes. I believe
this is what happened in my case, as the mild tenderness disappeared
over time.

That said, you might want to ask a doctor about what you are
experiencing. He will no doubt take a look--and grope you a little--to
confirm there is no infection of the epi tubes (this is not uncommon
even in non-vasectomised men); and, more importantly, to rule out any
growth on the testicle itself. This last is highly unlikely,
especially if you are out of your 20s. But it is prudent to have a
doctor look at any strange new thing you find on a testicle:
testicular cancer is rare but very dangerous; at the same time, it is
very treatable if caught early.

I am 6 months post-op and still get an occassional "twinge" from time
to time. My history in this forum is that of a whiner...my first 4
months were awful and the first 3 weeks were pure torture!
Now, things get a bit tender from time to time but I can usually credit
that to sitting for long periods of time or wearing pants that are a
bit too tight!
I have read that the closed-end type of procedure leaves a good length
of vas still attached to the testicle, to act as a bit of a pressure
reliever - it will swell with the pressure.
Also, from what I've been reading, it is usually the high-boy (the
testicel that normally sits higher in the scrotum than the other) that
tends to experience more pain. This is definitely MY case!
Two weeks ago, I was given the ALL CLEAR by the doc. No dead-swimmers,
no NON-motile swimmers, totally clear!
Returning to "riding bareback" is a wonderful feeling!

Congrats on the all clear, Mook. Re: the "high boy" hurting more:
that was definitley the case with me, too. That was also the side he
had to work on longer. My doc. said there is always one side that is
more difficult.
