My husband had an open cut/cauterize vas done in Oct. 2003, he had pain
in both testicles for approximately 1yr afterwards which gradually
subsided. Now he says his left testicle feels like the clip is moving
around. Well he has no clips, I even confirmed this with the uro
office that they do not use clips at all. And yesterday he was
complaining of pain in his left testicle "feelings like he had been
racked". I know that I need to find a dr to check this out note; he
does not want to go back to the uro he had the vas done at that is a
total other story. But otherwise does anyone know what could be causing
this pain?? he has no fever or swelling. Also, how do I go about
finding a good uro in my area, maybe someone who deals with pvp??

Thks, A.

IMO, the pain may not be from the vas, or PVP...How old is he? What
type of underwear does he wear? If it too tight? Reason I ask...I have
been there, done that...too tight=pinching=ow...
He could very well have PVP. I had "odd" sensations for almost 8 months
post vasectomy.
As far as a new uro...he needs o find a Dr. HE is comfortable seeing.
He must also be CONFIDENT in the Dr.

Occasionally, testicular infections or hydroceles/ or other problems in
the scrotal area cause pain. KEY: find a dr. and go to him/her. Get it
checked out...

4rest, thanks for the reply. My hubby is 43yrs old and the only
underwear he wears is boxers. Amazingly he started taking a steroid
dosepack (for another problem) and his testicle pain has subsided
somewhat so who knows what was causing the "racked type" feeling of
pain in his left testicle.
I did find a uro in our area who deals with post vas issues so maybe I
can get him into see that dr.
