Had my op nearly 2 weeks ago. I am 33 and have 3 kids.
The op itself was fine - a few strnage sensations but nothing
outrageous. The cauterisation bit wasn't that great but momentary.
Came home and slept for a few hours and rested for a few days but no
real issues then or now and didn't take any time off work. Starting
cycling to work again yesterday and although things feel a bit strange
there is no real pain or discomfort.

The only thing I find a bit dsiconcerting is I can feel the ends of the
tube which I assume is normal?

Yes, that's normal. My regular doctor was saying he could still feel
them 2 years after, but I couldn't.

Phenian, I had a vasectomy a little over a year ago. I could not get
back into fitness training much until about 3 weeks after the op. I
had an open ended NSV. After that, I could feel something occasionally
when I was straining, and frequently during sex. The sensation seemed
to be coming from near my pelvic bone - the upper ends, I assume. Not
pain, just something felt different. At about 6-8 months post-op, I
had pain in my testicles occasionally. A heating pad always made it go
away. At this point, rarely do I feel anything is different, and the
sensation isn't uncomfortable, I just know it's there.
