How long should I wait to have sex

Its been 4 days after the no scapel vasectomy. I was in quite a bit of
pain the first couple days, but only have some bruising now.
My doctor had told me to wait 7 days to ejaculate which seemed OK at
the time, but seems like forever now.
has anyone had sex to early and messed anything up? I was just hoping
to talk the wife into something nice and easy, with no banging anything
around. how long did most people on the board wait. Thanks-

Personally it was about a week. I didn't really feel up to it much before
that. If you feel ok, then go for something nice and gentle. I can't say
that we've heard of anyone causing themselves any damage by going ahead too
early. Just go carefull and if it starts to be unconfortable - stop!

I had sex after 3 days, but then again it's only up to you to decide how you
feel and how up for it you are. I was able to work out, and thus assumed I
was ready to have sex, and it was somewhat rough and great. But make sure
it's right for you - the first time is always special... :-)

I waited 48 hours I think ... took it nice and slow. It was a relief
to find everything in working order!

I didn't try "real sex" for a few days. My doc. had told me I could
start up again as soon as I felt like it.

I had sex the same evening... slow and gentle, of course.

I also developed a granuloma, but I don't think it's related.

Doctor didn't say anything about when I could, at all, so...

('twas a standard scalpel, fold over, cauterize, chromium
stitch vas, BTW)

Hi Mike,

I have just had vasectomy, a week ago, and on the 2nd day had sex...I
wouldnt recommed it..I was foolish...but emotions were runnng high and
I was stupid to do it. Otherwise, apart from the worry of opening the
wound, everything seem fine, so far.

I had mine done on a friday, I took it out for a solo flight on monday.
When the wife got home, we did a tandem jump, no worries. All my doc
said was next week, monday was next week.

Enjoy as much as you can; the first few orgasms after vasectomy are

So far as Great sex after vasectomy goes... The way some describe that
feeling it is what I had for at least 25 years before vasectomy. After
vasectomy my "great" sex was destroyed. Then after a few weeks it was
replaced by painful sex and to this day I am dealing with that. I am on
testosterone therapy for the past 3 months and I believe the pain during
sex might much less now but for the first time in 39 years I no longer
have a girl friend or wife to really know for sure. Vasectomy ruined a
lot for me... I think maybe having HIV would be better problem to have
than PVPS. Hope you are not in the 3% to 9% that end up like me. I now
take Oxycodone to get the relief I used to get from Orgasm, it works
pretty well. Hope I can be repaired someday and have something and
someone to work with again. I think being a drug addict is not so good as
being a lover for long term health. LUAN
