The nurse said I show a lot of white blood cells in my sample which
would indicate a possible infection.
My other conditions of low sex drive and loss of sensation during
orgasm haven't changed.
10 weeks post now.

Has your doctor mentioned prostatitis? Loss of libido and, I believe,
white blood cells in semen are symptoms. I have not seen loss
of sensation as a symptom, but I have seen pain or discomfort during
or after ejaculation listed.

You may be on to something, here, Giraud! In fact, men w/prostatitis
do sometimes report loss of sensation at orgasm, as well as loss of
libido, impotence, etc. And the white blood cells in the semen (which
mostly comes from the prostate) could be a major clue.

Fletcher, you may want to check out www.sci.med.prostate.prostatitis.
There is also a prostate health website link at the vasectomy website.
If you have a prostate infection, the doctor might want to treat it
with different antibiotics than he is giving you now, as infections in
the prostate are difficult to get at.
