re-vasectomy

hi all had a vasectomy in march 2005, all went well until i was told 16
weeks later that it had failed and that i had to go back and be put
under general.Has anyone else had this and was second time round any
easier.

Hi Vinie,
I had a neighbor who the doctor claims had 4 vas and he did the operation
a second time to make it final. I don't know more than this because the
man is dead now. This was done in the 60s. I have another friend and
diving partner who had a second vas done to achieve sterility (11 years
ago) He does not discuss details of his ordeal but his wife told me
pretty much everything in a one hour conversation. They don't know what
the Doc cut into the first time but the final outcome is that he is in
constant pain and can only have erection with the aid of 2 viagra (which
gives him a weak erection and a huge headache afterward) This couple knows
of 2 other men who had bad outcomes from the same doctor who is still
"practicing" in this area. You might like to consider NOT having the
unsuccessful operation repeated by the same Practitioner.
