Well here we are 5 days on and still severe pain in left testicle. I'm
getting a bit concerned now because I'm due to start a new job soon and am
working my notice with my existing one. Since the op last Friday I've not
been back to work and I really need to be there!!

Felt better yesterday to a degree so thought I'd try a quick test run.
Ejaculation was fine, no blood, no pain (apart from the ache I already had)
and things felt pretty normal. Went to bed OK and things are much worse
today.

My doc on Monday reckoned I had a haemotoma (blood clot) and it should clear
within a week. I also have a varicocele on the left side. Today is Wednesday
and things are getting worse. Can you guys give me some advice on what I
should be doing here? Should I call the doc again, sit it out or what?

Thanks for all your help

Dave

Dave my predicamnet is just like yours
Me It feels like someone has left a brick in my scrotum
and it is painful

anyway I went to the docs last week and he told me i ahve got a blood
clot and he has given me some penicilian
up to now it has worked it has got the swelling down but the brick
feeling is still their at momnet. so off to the docs again. anyway last
week on here someone said try a joc strap
best thing i ever bought . it takes a lot of pressure of your nads.

I know how you feel Scott. I've been on anti-inflammatories for a couple of
days and they've helped. I can actually function semi-normally now. However
my left testicle is still sore and there is still some swellling and
bruising from the op but nothing like it was. If the doc was right and this
is a haematoma then it's not going to clear up overnight.

Agree about the jockstrap.

Dave

The doc wants to try ultrasound next if it doesn't improve so we'll have to
see.
