Perhaps whatever is causing the reduction in your husband's ejaculate
volume is contributing to his occasional discomfort while having sex.
Clearly, though, it is not the vasectomy, as vasectomy reduces the
ejaculate volume by less than 5%, which corresponds to the amount of
sperm in the ejaculate of a non-vasectomised man. Maybe the new
urologist should test his ejaculate to see if it really is abnormally
small. If it is, he could go looking for an explanation that is
related to that. It could be a problem with his prostate. I think
it's odd he feels the pain during intercourse, not after, and can't
imagine what would cause that. As for whether you should have had a
tubal instead of him getting the vasectomy, I wouldn't worry about
that. The odds of a complication involving tubal are higher.

As mentioned and ignored on my previous posts I've encountered friends
and my brother in law that have encountered prostitis soon after the
trauma of having the vas. My BiLaw said he encountered similar issues
to posters husband - and that it culminated in "red" ejact showing
signs of severe infection.

He's never had problems with this before - but since his vas he's had
this several times now. No other major changes have happened to him in
that time and he's not suffering from any other "illness's".....

Therefore from my view the Vas is opening people up to infections in
connection to the prostate - this would account for all the symptoms
in original post.

Hope things improve soon and you get back to normal.
