Just wanted to let everyone know that I attended the dreaded Hollywood-type
dinner last night honoring John Lithgow, but more importantly, Susan Connors.
It was a long evening (we brought the kids - they brought their autograph
books), but it was thrilling and touching to see someone so amazing and
deserving such as Susan Connors being honored. She seemed thoroughly flattered
as she received her award from Rachel Silverwood, the girl who played a TS
character on the Practice a year or so ago. It seems she's Rachel's hero.

For those of you who don't know, Susan Connors is a teacher and a board member
of National TSA who has, along with five siblings and her deceased mother, TS.
The event raised more than $3 million dollars.

Susan is one of my favorite people, donating much time and energy to serving
TSA families. I wasn't able to go to the dinner, so I appreciate being
attending vicariously through your description of a very successful event.
Thank you for sharing!

They got John Lithgow's, Calista Flockhart's and Camryn Manheim's.
