I've written NBC Dateline to do an article on Tinnitus, causes, possible
cures etc...if anyone has the time to drop them a line requesting the
same please do so:

Hopefully a story on "T" will show others how debiliating and unknown
this disease is.

I don't think it's unknown. I think it's just uninteresting to the masses
that
don't have it. There's no broken bones, no wheel chairs, no tubes hanging
out of an orifice. Just some tired and crasy people who aimlessly search
the internet for hope. (sigh)

Good idea. I got mine cutting wood with a chain saw! I did not fill any pain
when
i was damaging my ears or there was no blod. But when i was done i heard the
noise
in my ears.Now i am on antidepresants and lost will to live.If i would know i
would use ear plugs and this would never happen!.
I tolked to few people and they also did not use ear plugs but there where
lucky
