Hello,

I recently overcame a bad case of tinnitus in conjunction with a cold. But
when I cover my ears now, I hear something that sounds like a low rumbling.
I read elsewhere on the Net that this is pretty normal. Is this true? What
is this noise?

Thanks - Jeff

Haven't you ever put a seashell in your ear? The noise you are hearing,
most likely, is the blood rushing through your ears.

Thanks,

Mike

Similar symptoms as Jeff

Over the weekend I had a dose of flu?, very tried all the time, spent a
lot of time sleeping. I came back to work yesterday and since then then
T is louder more annoying and I feel quite light headed almost dizzy.
Is this just a response to the cold?

Mike! The sound of a seashell is a childhood memory only for me! (I'm deaf.)
I thought it was for real! <sniff, sniff>
