Hello, quick history here...I am 29 had thyroid removed in 1996, my levels are
always hard to keep in check... (I did have Hashi's but that wasn't found out
until AFTER they removed my thyroid)
I was hyper a few months ago, but they kept me on the same dose of synthroid
which is .175mg. Now my latest blood tests say...

TSH .06 normal range is from .49 - 4.67
T4 is 1.48 normal range is .71 - 1.85

The doctors will not do a T3, I don't know why? My doctor has thrown in the
towel and I'm to see my PCP about it tomorrow (my OBGYN was taking care of it
for me up until now) I am beginning to wonder if I should be seeing an Endo?
I don't feel much worse then when I was considered in the NORMAL range, but I
do find myself spacy, and confused, tired (but I'm always tired) and even
though I'm doing a weight watchers program, I haven't been able to lose, even
without CHEATING and doing lots of exercises! AUGH......
ANyone feel like commenting? Could use your opinions! With my results does this
mean I need an increase in meds, or is this a pituitary gland thing? Help!
Please email me at Imlost96, since I forget to check these Message boards!
Thanks Karrie

I myself did better with weight loss after T3 was added to my meds along with
the T4 you are taking...a lot of Drs. feel T4 is most important...and ignore
the T3 component...try pushing for a T3 test...I would...Bernadette
