I've suspected for years now that Zoloft was causing sexual dysfunction,
but until just recently I didn't realize there was something (other than
discontinuing SSRUI's altogether) I could do about it. Thanks to Sexy
Drugs and information received from another news group, I am now on the
right track. My psychiatrist has prescribed BuSpar, which I take,
initially, along with the Zoloft. According to my tolerance for the
BuSpar, he wants to eventually discontinue the Zoloft and continue on
BuSpar (a non-SSRUI antidepressant) alone. The BuSpar has fewer side
effects than any of the SSRUI's, including sexual dysfunction. I'm so
relieved that there is a good possibility that this problem may soon be
resolved. My husband isn't too unhappy about it either! :-)
