Hi everybody,

Couldn't post this weekend, and I'm off to bed now (I'm tired _all_
the time this quit), but I needed to share:

The group is recently celebrating impressive 33 (!) years smober and
12 year sober etc, and I'm in awe of this. Still -- I'm quite happy
with this little baby of my own:

1 week, 6 minutes, 140 cigarettes not smoked. :-)

It's been a long week, but it's good to be here. Let's bring on next
week with commuting, city life etc. Post more later.

Best,
Phlebas

Getting your FWD is the biggest milestone there is. it is the first week
that shows you that it can be done, that smoking does not have a hold on
you. I would like to see you do something special for yourself or buy a
little something with your quit money ( like a birthday present) then come
and share with us what you did/bought

FABULOUS METER Phlebas !!!!! And VERY impressive.

That first week is the real hurdle (in my experience) and it all gets a
little easier after that.

Weeks have a way of quickly turning into months.

Keep the string going.

Your meter is every bit as beautiful as a 33 year meter or a 12 year
meter. Keep up the good quit!

I'll second that.

It's not length, it's strength.

Stay strong.

Stay smokefree.

Woo Hoo Phlebas! Anyone here will tell you the First Week is the real
commitment as you are totally changing your life and gaining a new
smober self. Getting this far gives you more ammunition to make it
through the second week and further until you, too, can have a big fat
bootyful meter as some of us do. The most important thing is you
continue to Kick Butt and say nooo to the demon and yes to life. So,
sit back and enjoy as The Original Yodeling Gnomes head your way, lead
by Horace, the Huffing Hogg, to sing songs of smobriety to help you
celebrate this first of many milestones you can work towards.

KEEP ON KICKING BUTT! YOU *can* do it!
