Picture a baldhead guy in a grease stained wifebeater tee shirt, boxer
shorts, socks with garters and an Iron City beer clutched in one hand with a
cigar clamped between his teeth sitting at a computer. Online he is
"Cindy", a full time TG with his own yahoogroups email list, a dozen
different hotmail and yahoo mailing addresses and a regular featured series
of articles on TG Forum.
The internut is full of them. No one has ever met them in person and never
will but they know absolutely EVERYTHING about being trans and womanhood and
are not the least bit shy in telling you so.
IRC, the newsgroups and yahoo are filled to the brim with them.

Iron City?????? Goodness, Cathy, people can certainly tell that you've
been around the Ohio Valley.
Iron City is the beer that gave Pittsburgh diarrhea.

Still better than Budweiser in my book (but that's a pretty strange
book). I even preferr Hurrican Ale over some brand name stuff ;-)

Cathy does not drink beer, she prefers sweet liquors, and a Big Cigar
is not her style.
Me, on the other hand, i like good thick British Stout and i do like
little dominican Cigars.

This is an example of a hairpulling post. Because you often provide grains
of corn, I read this one too. Please concentrate on the Good Roberta, and
keep the "evil twin" away from the keyboard. I know, it fels good to do a
good hair pull, but the best thing to do is to write the post, and then file
it without posting it - so you can vent without impinging on others.
I am picking on you here because I like you, and stuff like this only feeds
the flames.

Your point is well taken. However, please note that I did not write the
original text.
In the interest of fairness, you should also address the source.

Work Boots or light mountaineering boots. I love the look of Army
boots, but the built in arch supports preclude my wearing them.
My brother has an interesting philosophy about getting shoes for weddings.
He buys a brand new pair of black work boots and polishes them up for
the occasion. He then proceeds to use them for work. They are ussually
in need of replacement by the time the next fancy occasion comes around.
My shoes are wearing out. ;-)

You can't beat a pair of Doctor Martins boots with air cushioned soles, they were
invented by a German and are Manufactured in the UK. They can be a bit pricey like 50
UKP or more ( they may cost more in the US) but a pair of Docs can last 5 yrs or more
especially with regular spit and polish. They really are a quality boot.
They were quite a fashion thing for girls a few years back and one could get them in
all sorts of colours and they even did tartan ones for a while (I wasn't sure about
them). Seem to have gone a bit out of fashion recently but they are still good for a
more androgynous look or even with a long black dress and 40 denier tights for a
Gothic look. I always thought it was quite ironic that in the 70s it was skinheads
who were wearing Cherry red DM boots as a macho symbol, In the 90s all the girls were
wearing them. Mind all the skinheads I know are as camp as Christmas so maybe it
isn't so ironic after all.
