It started by helping alcoholics recover.
As it improved their facial skin rashes
dramatically, some reported their P. disappeared.

Encouraged by this succes, several pwp were
approached, and 100 % recovery with 100 % succes was
reported.

So, where do we go from here ?

Who is intrested, what can be done ?

The cure consists of standard nutritional
supplements in a very special composition and relation.

This is serious.

I suggest you as a group here work something out.

Appoint a trustee, that will keep the money for the
cure, and only pays out when someone gets really
cured, on a strict no cure, no pay basis.

Let everyone contribute according to their means.

The disease is conquered, do you've got what it
takes, do you deserve to be cured ?

This challenge, you will find out, will be greater
than finding a cure.

Uwe Hayek.

I see where this is going.

FYI : it is called intellectual property, and it could
have cured you, if you hadn't had these leftist
criminal tendencies.

Do you allow thieves on you property, and do you allow
them to tell you to spit your money out ?

Neither do I.

HI There
Strange to tell we are intested in a cure or even a simple half way decent
treatement. To a fair extent that why we're all visiting this NG,(OK for a
bit of friendly support as well).
Your problem is that you've go this potential solution to a real problem
which (a) could make you a reasonable living and (b) help people. (There
is no crime in making a fair profit from your intellectial property rights).
The problem is that there are so many cheats and thieves out there that we
here have become rather cynical and are'nt willing to take you at your word.
Can you really blame us, if you look into the 'psoriasis hall of shame' you
will see that the road to our cure has been a bumpy route to date and theres
still a long way to go.

If you have a half way decent treatment, even one with a 50% success rate
(and we all hope you have) may I suggest that you get a small drugs company
interested. A small company probably will not have a psoriasis treatment as
part of its current range so will be interested in working with you.
Because your cure consists of standard nutritional supplements the approvals
should come quickly assuming they are required at all. YOU will be rich and
we will get a cure with the confidence that we will not be poisoned.

If you simply get this group to try the treatment then either it will work
and get stolen by a drug company, or somebody here will make a mistake and
give a negative result putting others off.

Why would risk either of these outcomes? I would'nt.

This is the same problem for any chronic and/or
incurable disease. That is why I propose to you all
appoint a trustee, who will keep the money, and pay me
in case of succes or refund the sufferer in case of
treatment failure.
I think that is a fair and honest proposition, one
that garantees our mutual intrests.

I do not need bussiness advice. I know how it works,
it is very difficult to patent, and at first I was
afraid that the pharma's would bury it, in favor of
cure that does not cure but keeps selling. But I had
so many negative reactions that in the end I do not
care much about that happening any more.

I use it on a daily basis myself for more than two
years now, and I always am very sceptic toward
everything. IRL it is easier : I propose to drink it
together and that takes away peoples doubts.

That drug company will have the same problems
patenting it. And the negative result : I take my
chances on that.

I have seen the many results and had the excellent
testimonial of an highly intelligent and correct army
officer, who described and showed me his weekly
progres, and is now more than a year P-free, after a
lifetime of monthly severe and painfull flare ups.

Maybe it would be a good idea for several other groups
with chronic/incurable health problems to appoint a
trustee, who can act for all kinds of cure claims.

So everybody will be protected.

Lloyds maybe ?

If you really do have an effective product, and if the results are
"unexpected" or "surprisingly good" then a decent patent attorney will
have no problems wording your application properly and getting you a
patent. The fact that you are using existing products (if I read you
correctly) is irrelevant - the important point is the unexpectedly good
results.
And if it's that good the "big bad" pharma companies won't be able to
bury it!!

Let me guess who will sell them...

I don't think so !

The writer of this message thinks you are better of
with another year or ten, twenty of delicious psoriasis.

I think of selling out to the highest bidder.
The information I posses about the immune systems
makes it usable for a lot of conditions.

From now on I will look at psoriasis sufferers as
people with such bad characters, that they brought it
on themselves. Same goes for cfs sufferers.

Their own bad attitude effectively prevents me from
helping them.

Pray tell how many people with psoriasis (pwP) tried this?

Seems to work well for me. Nac that is. A gram a day rocks the P off
the hide.

These days i'm able to get the same results with a half gram of NAC.

For CFS and P and your program i can only speculate as to dose.

What? Maybe three grams as a loading dose for a day or six and then
drop down to one or two a day?

Because people find you lacking in credibility isn't
a big deal. You need to take Barry Hunts advice and go
for it. Real people will work with you if you have a
real deal. Talking with us, unless you spill the beans, is
useless unless your scaming someone. And please don't take

But,

Just to let you know what your up against.

My methods have CURED me about 70-90%.
(and NaC and ala is only a small part of my deal, btw)

Do you think that anyone has jumped on that bandwagon?

Not many. And it's all in this group for free. Search

Even my IP6 trials which go back at least four years haven't
attracted to many that I know of.

And your telling/selling them X (X = an unknown to
the psoriatic) and you expect people to have blind faith?

And fly to belgium to get it? Should they stoP over in Lourdes
on the way home? lol

(then again if you charge some poor *sucker* $10,000.00, that would
be someone who buys your X and gets zero results. You win and they
lose as they have to spend $ just to get to you, and provided you
refund
that part of their investment directly related to your costs)

A lot of if's? If some only tried IP6/Vitamin C!

Well?

The only way your going to find out is by using the stuff. I haven't
forgotten to take it the last few years. But when running my trials
I can't stay on everything in the P arsenal. ;-/

There are now 102 hits in the psoriasis newsgroup for(NAC). 95 Of those
are

What uwe hayek uses for his CFS.

And I did find more then one post linking Uwe to NAC and his CFS,

I pay for acetyl-cysteine $6 dollars for 30 capsules of
200 mg. About a dollar/gram. And folic acid 0.4 mg (200
% rda) is also 5 dollar for 60 tablets of 0.4 mg.

Strange thing again : this helps against my Chronic
fatigue & candidiasis.

This is the pharmacist market price, without insurance.

Not the end of the world, I think.

And a table spoon of olive oil helps to kill candida in
the gut. Really cheap.

A funny thing : after I took the first acetyl-cysteine
all my symptoms got worse. It was a powder formulation
that contained aspartame, to hide the bad taste. My
fatigue just skyroceted together with anxiety attacks.
In panic I started reading on cfs web sites.
On this one

I found :

wich linked to
http://www.holisticmed.com/asp artame/and
http://www.holisticmed.net/asp artame/adverse.txt

Another biiig fda blunder, or were they bribed and is it
a systematic problem ?

Anyway I switched to acetyl-cysteine in capsules without
aspartame, and my legs seem to move by themselves now,
wihthout any effort, amd my lungs feel like a vicks -
eucalyptus commercial.

Supplementing molybdenum reduces copper levels.

I've played with the metal ratio's for years. For me anyway,
the big one is iron. By using the IP6 chelator every day in
the morning, i'm eating like a carnivore (high meat diet) and
suffering no excess psoriasis, which would be expected without
the IP6. Later in the day i've been taking a few grams of
vitamin C with each meal to stimulate bile release.

I'm so healthy i don't recognize me. You know how i'm so
envious of your go go lifestyle? Guess what?

I can eat my C and be a dynamo to boot with out flares.

CLEARLY a workable strategy. Now i may as well go back to
a more normal balanced diet as my PsA is inching back on
this IP6/vitamin C trial.

But the trial has gained an extra feature from ben recently.
So, its morphing from one trial to another.

While i'm down to sub 5% Pasi levels, it doesn't make sense
to suffer with stiff sore fingers.

Notice how my posting levels have droPPPPPed!

Yikes.

Here is an interesting quote from one of Hayeks references:

- A supply of sulphur compounds in sea salt, mineral water and algal
products, and of cysteine and methionine containing protein mixtures,
(Cysteine, N-acetyl-cysteine and arginin, (3-8 gramme daily)also in curd and
whey) and folic acid (300 miligramme daily) can stimulate glutathione

O.K.

So, I also googled Hayek's posts, last night.

I also had a look again today at some of the things Randall found on Hayek,
following some of his references.

Allow me to paraphrase the theory behind "his cure."

Smoking, drinking, stress, chronic infection, medications, aspartame and
other toxins, deplete the bodies supply of certain nutrient reserves, which
are involved in detoxifying the body. Got more toxins than normal, need more
of these nutrients than normal. Normal diet and RDI do not supply enough.

The shortage of these nutrients means the body cannot properply dipose of
the toxins, and since some of the nutrients have other functions, the
combination of undisposed toxins and lack of nutrients for those other
functions weaken the body, so it becomes susceptable to opportunistic
infections. The combination of toxins, nutrient shortage, and the inevitable
infections lead to the symtoms of CFS, psoriasis, AIDS, arthritis, and
IBS...etc.

Here, is another reference found tracing from Hyak's posted references.

"Certain minerals are depleted in chronic illness patients, such as zinc,
magnesium, chromium and selenium."

http://www.immed.org/publications/treatment_considerations/DietaryConsid.-01.6.28.html

So, at this point, I think chromium, zinc, and magnesium supplements might
also be added to the mix.

Note: if more the 50mg of Zinc is taken per day, 2mg of Copper should be
taken also, since zinc
reduces the absorption of copper.

This means that if you are to give "Hayek's cure" any credence and really
want to give it a full on
shot, leaving nothing out:

MSM

Cysteine, N-acetyl-cysteine and arginin, (3-8 gramme daily)

folic acid (300 miligramme daily)

molybdenum
selenium
chromium
zinc
magnesium
copper

That should cover off most of the things that are depleted by smoking,
drinking, stress, chronic infection, medications, aspartame, and other
toxins.

He claims that only tens days of treatment are required to provide lasting
benefit.

He also claims to have "cured" some 300 people, without failure.

Here is Hyak's cancer connection, another function of glutathione, that is
hampered by a shortage.

All bioenergy and biochemical processes - above all naturally those in the
mitochondria too - depend on a varyingly intensive negative redox potential
as a biophysical prerequisite for complex proton and electron flow. This is
guaranteed chiefly by glutathione, a tripeptide unique to quantum physics,
that avails its central molecule, the amino acid cysteine, via the hydrogen
sulfide group - especially freely convertible protons for all detoxification
services.

Raum + Zeit: What are the consequences of these findings in understanding
the causation of cancer, the causes of AIDS, and therapy for cancer and
AIDS?

Kremer: The consequences are fundamental. In the case of cancer and "HIV
positive" that means increased production of many specific antibodies. In
full-blown AIDS (that is, intracellular fungus, protozoa, and mycobacteria
infections as well as a few really existing virus infections), it means
ulcerative colitis, severe traumas, burns and other systemic and chronic
diseases.
------------------------------------------HERE------------------------------
------------
We have a systemic lack of cysteine and glutathione as the result of
excessive cysteine and glutathione use (as with the nitro compounds above)
and/or lack of cysteine uptake and/or disturbance of new cysteine synthesis
from methionine in the liver (for example, through folic acid inhibitors
such as cotrimoxazol) and/or disturbance of new glutathione synthesis (toxic
and pharmatoxic due to a variety of substances). The organism suffers from a
striking lack of freely convertible protons. Under current civilization
conditions, the organism must cope with more than 60,000 poisons in the
glutathione system.
----------------------------------------and
HERE---------------------------------------
Transformation to cancer cells can develop through a shortage of glutatione
when the mitochondrial respiration chain's reserve capacity for ATP
production is reduced insidiously below a critical level of reserve energy
(apparent lack of oxygen, pseudo-hypoxia). The primordial genome portions in
the nucleus genotype function in this case as a proton-shortage memory. In
genetic and supergenetic terms, it develops into highly complex
counter-regulation. Alternating switching with the mitochondria is blocked.
The cells can no longer switch back after cell division and remain caught in
the division cycle. Nor are cancer cells transformed in this way any longer
able to die a programmed cellular death, because the mitochondrial gates
that would need to open remain closed due to intense counter-regulated NO
gas synthesis.

And we breathe out CO2. That plus Uwe's inertiameter (the clock) equals
eventual degradation of rna/dna.

A little demise whether premature or not is best to be avoided.

It also means the failure of the Th1 cytokines to deal with the
situation.

Yet. Isn't this where we depart from the Th2 cancers?

Our Th1 cells are way to healthy and the th2, IL-10's aren't
around to stop the rampant fight to stop the inflammation.

We have excess inflammation fighting capacity and the cancer person's
has burnt out. They have the IL-10 we need in excess capacity.

To bad we can't hook a line from our immune system to theirs and
trade our Th1 cells for some of their Th2's.....

Anyone have a little magic black box to do that?

And you think your an expert? Based on empiricism alone?

Thats a laugh. Would it not be irrational of us to believe
you based on your word alone?

Your words are hollow then and what you've said in
prior posts is as well.

For someone who holds his card so close to his chest, I smell

For you to attempt to sell us a cure in a usenet group shows
how contemptible you are.

You neither read the p group faqs or adhere to basic group rules.

How stupid are you then?

If not stupid then your a cheat, liar and con man.

Take your pick. Or is all of it true?

Yep, from a printer. A hardcopy.
A device that looks like this.
http://www.hp.com/united-states/consumer/gateway/printing_multifunction.html#color_inkjet_printers

In your browser, in the upper left corner, it says
File. Click that, a menu pops up and you will find
the word print.

You do know what "a browser" is do you ?

I read about Dr Kremer.

Like your accomplice "Cruiser" said, and at least he
has the intellectual honesty of admiiting that :
(Cruiser :) "The whole article is an interesting read."

So did I, and I gave it to the doctor(s) who argued
about it, and had a power struggle around it while
we sat and watched. It was a little bit more
complicated, and it is not for low-lifes with a
closed mind like you.

I suspect his wife intervened, because I received
the stuff I gave him two months earlier, untouched,
after his death.

Women are highly sceptical : I have in my sample 9
men vs 1 woman.

> Why didn't you arrange for him to have a
> transplant then?

It is not in my power to arrange liver-transplants.
He also had a bit of pancreatic cancer.

You accuse me of all sorts of things, but you just
tried to steal my ideas and empirical work by
digging into my usenet background. And you do not
even find that contemptuous, you even think that you
are smart.

According to you, I do not have the right to seek a
fair reward for my efforts, even if that effort
means you and 7 million others getting rid of
psoriasis, but you got the right to dig in my
background and try to steal anything you can find.

All I can say to that is "God, I thank you for
giving this creature psoriasis for now, but next
time, try harder"

You should read the book on Millionaires :
contrarious to popular belief, millionaires are
honest people. As a matter of fact, the state the
number one reason for becoming a millionaire : their
"lifelong honesty".

Yes interesting. But how relevent for layman to stop using

As i recall you spelled it cirrosis. No wonder YOUR browser doesn't
work. You can't spell.

Or you wouldn't have had to make a *copy* of the kremer paper. Which
the doctors fought over. lol

Ad hominem again? But I only based me reply on what you offered.

Sorry if you don't know what your saying. When you give a story
out to make your self look good in the future. Try to make it complete
so folks can get it.

I would argue and have that your the low life. How many people
could you have possibly helped since your *cure* one year ago?

I've been in this group for five years and have gone from 70% at
times to nearly clear all the time.

And you'd think that I would be the one with your *cure* numbers.

I have given away for FREE (as this is a usenet group) all of
my trials.

Let me remind you. People who test my *suPPlements* can question
them and are fully informed as to the theory of using them.

What can you offer them? Nothing but, trust me. It's a secret.
I can't tell you as you'll rip me off. yada yada yada.

IOWs you've got nil. Or at the most, what you've read on the web
somewhere.

If you haven't stolen Dr. Kremer's ideas then what lead you
to your so called ePiPhany? Your cure came to you in a dream?

Your to stupid to find anything on your own, I'm now convinced.

You stand on your own back bellowing how great you are.

You must be a nobel prize winner as well. lol

To bad no one will ever find out what you have.

CFS or a *cure* for all IMIDs.

As there can't be any peer reviews obviously

Must have been God who came down and gave you a commandment to cure
CFS.

Lets see. Naomi had liver and cfs problems that are in remission,

She used your diet and suPPlements as well? Right?

BTW, i have spoken with the guy on the far left. lol

Lets get this straight. You dispense medicines that are really
supplements and he doesn't take them due to his wife?

So you blame her? She killed him huh?

If your so called friend didn't have the will to take what
you gave him and you should have followed up if you had any
convictions what so ever, then he sounds like a lost cause.

He's BOD.

The wife lived with him afterall, she knew better then you.

Your friends are obviously nutless people. And you make fun of
us for the trials we run?

Gosh if we only lacked the sPine that your friends have.

You don't find your behaviour contemptible?

After I got the idea, I looked in vain for someone
that has said this before. I could not find any.

Maybe you can ? Anyway, from the "licensed
physicist" the idea was met with so much contempt,
that it must be either wrong or new.

I challenged them to falsify it, and that never
happened. In your google search, I did not find a
reference to a clock being an inertiameter, prior to
me, stating this.

Do you know what language they spek in Belgium ?
Do you know that in some parts of the country the
economy has been surpassed "by the metropolitan area
of Budapest" ? Belgium is sort of a communist
country, with very harsh laws on everything and a
90% overall tax rate. A judge recently rejected an
inheritance tax of 90# with the nmotivation that "a
tax of 90$ amounts to seizure of the whole property"

Medical care is almost completely free, and that is
necessary, because people do not have the money to
go to the doctor or pay for medication. 25% of the
people are so dissatisfied they voted for a rogue
party, a bit like Ross Perot, to signal that "enough
is enough". The authorities have always been unable
to keep up with distrubuting social welfare, hence
the rogue party, but now it is also showing up in
the international statistics.

> And you expect us to believe that?

It is the truth. You should not project your
economic matrix on mine. Many companies thought they
could make a quick buck in Belgium, because they saw
that this or that market for their products was
not exploited. After a few years and a lot of money
lost, they realized that they have to pay hughe
taxes and social security for people employed here,
and that nobody buys their products.

I know I am not a fraud, but you seem to figure that
out wrong. I talked to the first guy that got rid of
his psoriasis yesterday. All the nonsense here made
me doubt.

I asked him if he had other leaps of no psoriasis
that were a year long.

He answered that it was since his youth. When he got
it for the first time, it went away for a long
period, but then it came back after a few years.
Then, as an adult it never stayed away for more than
two months. In the time just before he met me, it
flared up about every month, with painfull almost
open sores between the legs, spots on the knees,
feet, and elbows.

When it started to disappear, the elbows were the
last to get better, but eventually they did.
It never stayed away for a year.

He takes my supplementation intermittently, not for
his psoriasis, but for his other, now minor, health
problems.

He certainly does not think that I am a fraud, and
is astounded that other people might think so. I
like talking to him, because he is an intelligent
guy, a retired army officer.

Just me, knitting some more wit. I am not as good as Randall, he can
really knit wit admirably.

Here is some good information on what to take, dosing, toxicity, and
interactions.

I have to head off to a party, so I don't have time to distill it
all down.

Obviously, dosing will be important to avoid toxicity.

Anyone considering this kind of supplementation should do some
googleing for proper dosages.

The bottom reference is a virtual diamond mine of information on this
topic. The whole article is a recomended read. However, I would
recommend getting other opinions as well.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Not personally come across Molybednum before as a possible help for CFS, but
there's an article here:

http://www.mall-net.com/cooter/moly.html

It suggests 100mcg three times a day.. according to the guy's study it looks
like it helped an average of about 60% of sufferers.. might be worth a try!

Ian
--------------------------------------------------------------
http://www.mefmaction.net/documents/journal.pdf

B12/Cyanocobalamin: Based on anecdotal reports of CFS patients
improving with B12 injections and research studies demonstrating
that persons with normal blood counts who had CFS-like neurological
symptoms may benefit from injections of cyanocobalamin
(120,121,122), Cheney and Lapp began treating CFS patients with
cyanocobalamin parenterally. Fifty to eighty percent of their patients
reported some improvement. Most patients had normal serum
B12 and folate levels prior to treatment. Measurements of
homocysteine and methylmalonate levels taken at the Cheney
Clinic showed elevation in approximately one/third of CFS patients
suggesting a B12 deficiency may be a contributing factor in the
symptomology of this subset of patients. Lapp suggested that this
may be due to a reduced ability of B12 to be transported into the
cell, as major doses of B12 gives marked improvement of energy
level, cognitive ability, and mood, and reduced irritability, numbness
and weakness in this subgroup. Improvement is usually seen
in six weeks (123). Lapp reports treating thousands of patients
with high dose B12 over a ten-year period with no evidence of cyanide
toxicity even at 15,000 mcg per week, and no serious adverse
effects other than some bruising at injection site. Rarely the
urine may have a slight pinkish tint following injection but that appears
to be benign. The occasional patient may develop an acnelike
rash but it responds quickly to a reduced dosage. B12 injections
are contra-indicated for patients with kidney failure. Another
theory is that hydroxocobalamin is a nitric oxide scavenger and
may address suspected elevated nitric oxide/peroxynitrite (124).

http://www.newtreatments.org/fromweb/sulfur.html

Nutritional deficiencies will affect the body's ability to detoxify
foreign chemicals. For example, magnesium is important in over 300
enzyme systems that relate to Phase and Phase II detoxification;
however, the average American diet is low in magnesium. The Phase I
enzymes alcohol dehydrogenase and aldehyde dehydrogenase are zinc
dependent, and NAD, the coenzyme form of niacin, activates these two
enzymes that break down alcohol and acetylaldehyde (AH). Magnesium
and NAD are both dependent on adequate supplies of vitamin B6, in the
form P5P. Aldehyde oxidase requires molybdenum. A deficiency of P5P,
NAD, zinc, magnesium, molybdenum, or the amino acid histidine could
significantly impair the ability to detoxify those chemicals,
especially the toxins of candida (acetylaldehyde).

By supplementing molybdenum and histidine (needed in the molybdenum-
histidine containing enzymes, sulfite oxidase and cysteine
dioxygenase, that oxidize sulfur), along with iron, and the B-complex
(preferably in coenzyme form), glucosamine/chondroitin sulfate
(stimulates synthesis of the GAGs we studied about above, and is
mildly anti-inflammatory without inhibiting the synthesis of
Prostaglandins, and more effective when taken together), minerals in
sulfate form, such as iron sulfate, and Epsom salts (magnesium
sulfate-taken orally it is a good laxative for those that need it),
one may supply both the minerals and the sulfate needed to detoxify
phenols and other metabolites. When glucosamine gives up its sulfate,
it supplies glutamine. Chondroitin is comprised of N-acetyl-D-
galactosamine and D-glucuronate. Collagen Type II may be even better
for it supplies at least 50 other types of sulfate such as heparan,
keratan, and dermatan sulfate. Curiously, bread is sulfate rich. This
program will increase the number and enhance the efficiency of the
available PST enzymes in doing their job.

---snip----

I should mention that there is a small chance of magnesium toxicity.
Decreasing kidney function, common in the elderly, may prevent
magnesium from being excreted normally leading to a toxic condition.
Initially, symptoms include: drowsiness, lethargy and weakness. At
higher levels, nausea, vomiting, and serious arrhythmia (irregular
heart beat) may occur. If this be the cause of these symptoms, they
will disappear quickly once the use of magnesium bearing products is
discontinued. -Dr. Richard M. Ratzan, University of Connecticut
Health Center. This could only occur with very poor kidney function
for the toxic level is approximately 6000 mg daily. If there has been
any indication that the child's kidneys are not functioning fully
(possibly high creatinine levels), check with your doctor before
using magnesium (or potassium), and have him monitor
magnesium/potassium levels. Strive for high normal levels. Adequate
potassium stimulates the kidneys to excrete poisonous body wastes
(usually toxic protein acids from inadequate protein digestion).

---snip----

Sulfate is the most oxidized form of sulfur. It doesn't need to be
oxidized any more, so supplementing or bathing in sulfate supplies
what is lacking because of the body's inability to oxidize the sulfur
in foods. Oral sulfate will be poorly absorbed; so, supplement a gram
or more of sulfate each day. Some will get through. Supplementing
papain enhances absorption of sulfates. SAMe (SAM) is said to improve
sulfoxidation, in fact, it is necessary to the manufacture of all
sulfur-containing compounds in the body. Dr. Jeff Bradstreet, MD,
father of an autistic child, has this to offer: "If the child has an
unusual odor at night or their bedclothes do, or if they sweat while
asleep (PST defect), use methylsulfanylmethane (MSM), 1500 to 3000
mgs per day. In the study, 83% of autistic children were PST
abnormal, and MSM should help this. It did in our son's situation."

MSM works with copper in many functions, and may get depleted with
copper supplementation or when high copper levels are present.
Additionally, our soils are depleted of sulfur, and such sulfonyl as
there is in foods is lost in cooking. MSM is a white, crystalline
powder that is odorless and somewhat bitter tasting. It mixes in
water more easily than sugar, and just barely affects the taste. In
juice or other beverages, it is undetectable. MSM is effective in
ameliorating gastrointestinal upsets such as that produced by the
ingestion of aspirin and other pharmaceuticals, or that from
parasitic infections. Individuals with gastrointestinal symptoms such
as diarrhea, chronic constipation, nausea, hyperacidity and/or
epigastric pain (having been reported more effective than TagametT),
or inflammation of mucous membranes also will experience dramatic
relief. Individuals presenting symptoms of pain and inflammation
associated with various musculoskeletal system disorders, including
arthritis, report substantial and long-lasting relief. Those lacking
in sulfite oxidase cannot metabolize MSM, or the sulfite used in
Chinese foods or on some green salads, to sulfate, and may get
headache, dizziness, fatigue, wheezing, leg pain, and other symptoms.
MSM also seems to cause hair loss when there is heavy metals
poisoning, particularly mercury. This may be overcome by
supplementing molybdenum and vitamin B6, and this will enable more
efficient metabolism in this pathway relieving the sensitivity to
sulfur-bearing foods, and producing needed sulfates. Many cannot
tolerate more than 500 mg MSM, yet show very positive benefits from
even this amount. So, start low and increase dosage as you can
tolerate it. Always supplement molybdenum when taking MSM. Two
hundred to 300 mcg a day may be enough, but moly absorbs poorly, and
adults may require 1000 mcg twice daily for three or four months or
longer to overcome this aversion to sulfur-bearing foods.

One should note that mercury binds to the -SH (sulphydryl) groups,
resulting in inactivation of sulfur and blocking of enzyme function,
producing toxicity. Sulfur is essential in enzymes, hormones, nerve
tissue, and red blood cells. Mercury also blocks the metabolic action
of manganese and the entry of calcium ions into cytoplasm. Mercury
thus has the potential to disturb all metabolic processes. Under
these conditions MSM should be most helpful.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

If the child can metabolize organic sulfur (like MSM/DMSO) all the
way to sulfate, then MSM is a good way of increasing sulfate.
However, if the enzyme sulfite oxidase is not working well, then MSM
is a bad idea. Sulfite oxidase requires molybdenum as a cofactor, and
since mercury depletes selenium; and mercury, MSM, oral sulfate, and
copper tends to deplete molybdenum, selenium and molybdenum must be
supplemented. Conversely, tungsten inhibits the action of molybdenum
and thus of the molybdenum-based enzymes sulfite oxidase, xanthine
oxidase, and aldehyde oxidase. This would likely cause an excess of
molybdenum to accumulate. Thus, both excess mercury and excess
tungsten would create a shortage of the listed enzymes.

A coenzyme, vitamin B-complex supplement of moderate potency should
be supplemented. One mother in supplementing molybdenum reports that
her daughter, who was doing quite well, regressed into severe,
autistic symptoms for three days, including 18 hours of screaming-
possibly due to detoxifying. Her doctor urged her to cease, but she
stayed the course, and today her daughter is far and away better!
This is serious stuff.

Incidentally, a gross deficiency of molybdenum manifests as
tachycardia, headache, mental disturbances, and coma. An excess
intake of 10-15 mg daily (for adults) can cause a gout like syndrome
because of an elevated production of uric acid. Dosage range should
not exceed 1 mg per day (adult), bearing in mind that more than 0.5
mg causes a loss of copper. Very little molybdenum is needed, but it
is an important element in several important metalloenzymes (xanthine
oxidase, aldehyde oxidase, and sulfite oxidase) that participate in
crucial liver detoxification pathways.

Until the body regains its ability to oxidize sulfur, it may be
desirable to limit high sulfur containing foods (cruciferous
vegetables, broccoli, onions, garlic, turnips, eggs, red meat,
turkey, dairy products); and supplements like alpha lipoic acid,
glutathione, L-cysteine, and N-acetylcysteine (NAC can be better
tolerated when used with its team mates, the amino acids glycine and
glutamine in ratio 2:1:1, and the B-complex vitamins. It should be
tried for the glutathione it produces is so vital). Those who have a
problem with these foods likely have an impaired sulfur oxidation (a
cysteine oxidation) problem, and should be alert to cysteine
toxicity. Even those who do not oxidize cysteine well can usually
tolerate NAC at 500 mg daily (adult dose) without contributing to
cysteine toxicity. Supplying any of these sulfur foods may be a
problem to some of these kids who do not oxidize sulfur well. One
indicator may be fatigue after eating these. Unless a problem is
observed, however, these foods should not be restricted unnecessarily
for that will cause a reduction of the vital antioxidant glutathione,
and interfere with the conversion of T4 thyroid hormone into T3.

Yes, this now makes sense, since Hayek likely believes we all have a long
term B12 deficiency.

Supplementing Folic Acid when there is a long term B12 deficiency will cause
permanent nerve damage.

Take anything P. Like LPS and do an author search on billi

Yet an author search of duesberg on pubmed (62 hits) turn up nothing
for
lps and endotoxins.
