New research published. It might be of interest to those with young female
relatives who want to ward off inheriting it from their families. Too late
for me and walking doesn't count!

ScienceDaily (May 21, 2012) — A study of U.S. women suggests that vigorous
physical activity may be associated with a reduced risk of psoriasis,
according to a report published Online First by Archives of Dermatology, a
JAMA Network publication.

well, ... so what about men?

I would guess that, since vigorous physical activity is going to be
associated with lower body fat and lower blood sugar levels, it is
going to associate with all sorts of better health.

also the reverse is true - once you're fat and skin is falling off you
don't exercise as much, so yeah, but then there might not be ANY real
causal link at all, it's all negative.

science can be so complicated, ... :)

A lot of science just tells us what we already know. Doctors hav
been telling us that lots of problems stem from obesity for
centuries. Obesity causes inflammatory cytokines, which are like
hormones. So, the science that you see az complicated iz only
complicated by what you are willing to do to lose weight. I do not
really need to lose weight, and if it wiL help my condition, then I
will do it. I will turn my daily walk into a run on the second circuit.
