I began my own trial of sublingual B12 and folic acid after the recent
posts. I take sublingual Btotal (one dropper full) once a day and 400 mcg
of folic acid twice a day. ( I also get another 400mcg in a B complex
vitamin). I was able to get the sublingual Btotal at Safeway supermarket.
I believe I got the
folic acid at my local pharmacy.
After 18 days I am encouraged. I think there is some definite improvement
going on. I began some definite clearing (like I have never had before) a
little before that. Cannot narrow it down to anything though. However,
adding the B12-folic acid I think may be carrying things along. I've seen
clear skin coming where I haven't seen it for years. I am anxiously
looking in the mirror everyday. However, I am still rather skeptical
though hopeful. Will try to keep you posted. In addition I am also taking
Primrose Oil 500 mg (with 45 mg of GLA) once or twice a day
Vitamin A 10,000 IU once a day
Vitamin B complex (includes B1, B2, B6, B12, Niacinamide, Folic Acid,
Biotin, Pantothenic
Acid, Choline Bitartrate, and Inosital and PABA) It is B-100 CAPS from
Twinlab.
Vitamin E 400 IU once a day
Vitamin C 1000 mg once a day
Zinc 50 mg once a day
From what I have read this is all good for psoriasis, but I think that the
sublingual Btotal with folic
acid may be a real key as well. I remember for awhile as a kid taking
vitamin B12 and iron. Perhaps
I was getting injections then, or was it a liquid I took. I was too young
to quite remember. My real
problems with psoriasis began as a young adult and I moved to a rainy
climate where sunshine is
all too rare.
Hope this is helpful. I wanted to be counted in on the experiment.

I took B-12 injections and iron some 20+ years ago and cleared compleletely.
In recent times, paying close attention to diet has been getting me good
results. However, taking B-Total (a dropper full) and Folic Acid (400 mcg
twice a day) as recommended by Sipler made a huge difference. Just these 2
(and I take *no other* vitamin supplements), noticeably accelerated the pace
of clearing. Whatever else one may do for p, I too tend to believe sublingual
B-Total and folic acid may be the key catalysts that speed improvement.
A million thanks, Don Sipler, for pointing the way.
