I posted a thread at the start of the year called 'Things I want to
happen in 2009'.

These were my 5 things and if they happened:

1. Health of my parents - My Mam is okay. My Dad has had cancer
treatment and was given the all clear in August.

2. Find another job - Changed my mind about this. My job has improved
and the hours are perfect and the money is good.

3. Get my golf handicap down to 3 - Didn't happen, still at 5.
Played well though.

4. Hull City to avoid relegation - They just did it by one point.

5. Get seduced by a woman with big tits - Bit of a joke really.
Nothing happened whatsoever but then again I don't try much.

Here is my list of things I want to happen in 2010.

1. Health of my parents again.
2. Golf handicap down to 3.
3. Hull City to avoid relegation again.
4. To get back in touch with my female friend.
5. Europe to win Ryder cup (golf)
6. England to win World Cup (Football)
7. To have a fling with a woman from work. (Everybody else had, why
not me ?)
8. To have some kind of adventure.

You did OK. I don´t even renember my list of resolutions for this
year, but I don´t think I´ve acomplished any of them.

Good luck...and thread carefully when you try to carry resolution # 7.
Workplace environment could get very unconfortable if your approach
doesen´t go well.

My workplace is mostly women and always has been. Currently there are
4 men. The boss has had loads of flings, the deputy manager; in the
week he started he got asked out twice, this other young bloke went
out with this young lass and even I had a very short moment with this
woman about 10 years ago. So it does happen I guess.

I ended up marrying a cow orker. Not so much now, but in the past, I
think some women only got a job there for the chance to sink their
tentorhooks into some poor slob.

I could be really bitter if I was that type. About 10 years ago it
seemed every bloke at work was getting some. These two twenty year
olds had more than one each. The deputy manager starts and he gets
asked out twice in the first week. Yet I was the guy who got into to
trouble. I was the creep, the nutcase, the stalker. I had the little
meeting with some woman from personell because a lass had said that 'I
made her feel uncomfortable' - What had I done ? Nothing ! Had I said
something ? Done Something ? No !

Oh great memories ! Yet at the time the Manager was screwing a
supervisor in his office, another supervisor often touched girls
bottoms, sexist comments were made. Who gets into trouble ? Me !

It's in the past but talk about getting shit on !

It is because you didn't have the skills and knowledge to do it right. Eh,
shyness sucks.

It got nothing to do with shyness. They're probably just supermarket
skanks who don't value what he's got.

I'm sure if he was a regular customer to the store wearing expensive
clothes, a rolex and twirling his Audi keys in his hand, they'd be
come sniffing like flies round shit.

Their opinion counts for fuck all.

The deputy manager was extremely quiet when he joined, yet 2 women
asked him out in the first few weeks.

I should point out the girl who complained about me is an utter
nutcase. So I shouldn't really care what she did. I don't now but it
did knock my confidence for awhile.

Or they don't like what they see.

So, female choice is sensetive to wealth displays(which are not
confounded by other factors - like good looks).

Support that claim with evidence, or better arguments(as there has
been plenty of contravening evidence/arguments posted in this group
already).

Your a great son of your parents. Always bear

The mere fact that a shy guy shows some kind of attraction gives the
creeps to many women. We lonely shy males are all potential psychos,
don´t you watch horror movies?.

I think it means claws, an English expression.
