If you're talking about the stray reflection, the person behind it
appears to be smiling. It's obviously an artifact of the photo and not
a ghostly cloud.

That person is me, and I am probably smiling, and it is a photographic
artifact, but overall it is a terrible picture of me and the artifact
appears to be coming out of my nose as I make a face.

It seems that most women disdain facial hair. Only men seem to be
interested in growing mustaches and beards (I have no idea why--I don't
like facial hair, either).

She is my friend, and she is engaged to another friend, who I have known
since he was 14. Her fiancee is, FWIW, horribly, painfully, cripplingly
shy, and suffers from really severe anxiety. I am not at all sure how
they met, since he rarely leaves his house or office. I only know hism
because we became friends when he was really young, before his shyness
advanced to this degree.

She is not at all shy, and is a sweet, sweet, wonderful human being who
is loved by all who know her. She is the kind of person who would bake
you a cake and bring it over if she knew you were having a bad day.

Did anything happen to make his shyness "advance"? Despite his shyness,
does he have "game"? How does he treat his (did I mention pretty?)
fiance - does he seduce her? Or does he do the we-don't-play-games
routine, or is there anything else you notice?

Details, details, please, if you have the patience.

But that's good to read. An inspiring counterexample.

Let's try again: who's the blonde also on the left behind said (taken)
hottie friend? Is she single? (You have adjust the colour curve to see
her. If you do so you'll also see a guy making out with someone. But
he's no robot head, so it must be a figment of my imagination.)

It's quite fun pulling pics apart to see what at first seems obscured.

Nothing at all happened that I am aware of; he just became increasingly
shy as he got older. He definitely does not play games with his
fiance... they seem to have a really strong understanding of each other,
sharing the same sense of humor and an almost wordless communication.
They also love to discuss interesting things with each other.

I think there are a lot of people like that out there, but they're
usually hitched at a young age and stay that way.

The blonde girl is my friend Antimony, I think, and she's hooked up with
my friend Chris #3, who is also extremely shy and introverted, as well
as being a sort of stereotypical reedy-nerd-type. You can't see her face
in the photo but she's gorgeous. They met through a mutual friend, who
is also a friend of mine. All of the people I am talking about are also
at this party, which is a "sophisticate" themed birthday party for
another friend. By "sophisticate" he means "absurd", and everyone there
is a total nerd.

The "guy" in the background is actually some chick; I don't know who she
is though.
