Anybody used/using DMSO for Morphea

Hi there:

Is anybody familiar about using Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO) for Morphea
(Localized Scleroderma)? I have a six year old daughter who has been
suffering for the last 3 years with Morphea on her face.

Hi.

While I am not familiar with the drug you are talking about, I am on Plaquenil
for my Morphea. I have been on it since Feb of '97 and have seen mine quit
growing and a slight amount of shrinking. I am still on the drug and my doctor
says I will be for quite a while. I have talked to a few people who are also
on Plaquenil and they have reported similar outcomes as mine.

Was Plaquenil prescribed by a dermatologist or rheumatologist? Also is
it a topical cream or is taken orally?

It was prescribed by a dermatologist and it is taken orally.
