Cold lasted 3 weeks with cough and phlegm but no runny nose.
1st CT scan was in early Jan. 08 and showed liquid in the lungs. 1st
pulmonologist said to remove it out but oncologist said to wait. 2nd
pulmonologist said lungs are clear and to come back in 3 months. Mom
started having strong and constant pressure inside the chest when
breathing.
2nd Ct scan was done in April with 2nd pulmonologist and showed little
liquid but he said nothing about solid mass.
Mom went to pulmonologist #3 in July who did X-ray that showed solid
jelly-like mass in lungs formed from the liquid and that the liquid
had to be removed when it was first found.
In September cardiologist said to do chest and coronary vessel (3rd)
ct scan which showed no change compared to #3 but the mass was still
there. The mass he said has squished the lung reducing it in half.
None of the doctors have suggested any course of treatment but rather
that it will go away by itself.
After the pre-cancerous tissue has been removed 4 years ago the biopsy
area on the right side of chest started to develop an inflamed red
circle with small eruptions covered with black crust that started on
the inflamed area in early 08 and bleed if brushed or rubbed. She's
been on hormonal therapy to prevent recurrence of breast cancer.
Any ideas what's going on here?
