reason for leaving was that my "new" internet provider (my former one
got bought out) did not accommodate newsgroups. Anyway, they still
don't have newsgroup capability, but I found the Google newsgroups when
I checked to see if this group was still in existence.
By way of introduction (or re-introduction, as the case may be), my
name is Shannon, I live in Nashville, Tennessee, I am a legal
secretary, I am 30 years old and have had P (do we still call it that
here?) since I was about 7 or 8. In October, I was diagnosed with PA
(joy of all joys), so I have been getting to try all sorts of new
medications. I am currently taking MTX, but it does not seem to be
working on the PA, just the P. My rheumy is planning to prescribe
Humira if my insurance will hurry up an approve it while I can still
type.
I haven't had time to get caught up on the postings, but I will.
Hopefully, all the people I chatted with & who gave me good advice are
still here. I can't remember all of you, but I know I talked to
LadyAndy, Kim & DaveW back in the day.
I guess that's all about me for now. If anyone has any input into
Humira vs. Enbrel, etc., please let me know.

Love Humira!!! It worked amazingly for me. My spots were totally gone
after a week or so. Good luck with it.
