Im new here. Im Kellie. A 35 year old from Victoria with OI.
I dont know what type of OI I have as the doctors were never able to
catagorize it. Im in a wheelchair most of the time, but can walk on elbow
crutches. Lost count at around 30 breaks when I was 8 years old. At the
moment Ive got a stress fracture in each femur which is really pissing me
off.
I have been searching for a chat site or forum to talk to others with OI
because Ive never really had much to do with others like me, and think it
would do me good to talk to people who know how I feel and what Im going
through.

Unfortunately, this is a rather quiet group right now as not many people use
the Newsgroups anymore. I guess they are all going to MySpace and FaceBook.
Even a lot of the old yahoo and aol groups are pretty dead. Do you have an
account on either MySpace or FaceBook?
The OI Foundation (US) at www.oif.org has a Sunday night chat every week
that is usually pretty well attended. They're a pretty good group and meet
from 8-10 p.m. EST. OIF also has a Peer-to-Peer Message Forum. You can
access both of them through the Home page.
