I recently went to the Morongo Casino and nearly died from the
unbelievably oppressive smoke-filled atmosphere. Their pathetic excuse
for a "non-smoking" section didn't have its own ventilation system, so
the smoke from the main area came streaming in. It was such a miserable
experience we had to leave very quickly, and I had trouble breathing for
two days afterwards. (I have asthma.) I want to know why smoking is
permitted in casinos in California when it's outlawed in virtually all
other places in the state--even outdoors!
