If I were you, I'd register the saying before someone else beats you to it!

I would do that but it wasn't my idea in the first place. As a matter
of fact I think I better get permission to use it at all. Permission
granted Cyd? :) Mary L.

Mary,

I've heard that line for years...it's hard to know who came up with it first...
There's one gov't agency or another that can search for you to see if anyone
has a Š or Trademark for it... Sorry, I don't know which agcy.

It's one of those lines that dozens of people may have "come up with", and all
may think it is "original"...

I'm not very clever when it comes to one liners but I have a great sense of humor. If I am able to do this then I would pay royalties for slogans that I use. Please E-mail me if you have some funny sayings with play on words. It needs to be something that I can do a picture with though. And please, keep it clean! Thanks. :)

A guy in a chatroom had a good pun one night. He said "don't get on the
last of my nerves".

That's great! I already have a picture in mind. I've kept your e-mail
address so I can pay you royalties if I'm able to sell it. Thanks! :)

Oh yes you can. It just takes practice, like anything, and then one day
they just appear. The down side of this is the "foot in mouth"
syndrome.

Amen to the Foot in Mouth Syndrome!! That's why I wear out so many pairs of
shoes! And I don't even walk in them!

I would, but the aying wasn't mine to begin with! Wish I could tell you whose
it was!

Just popping my head in, saw this one! By the way, since I can't check in on
a regular basis anymore, if anyone wants to write me personal mail, you know
where to find me! I'm probably going to only be on once a week or so, so the
pile of unread news is going to just get bigger and bigger! But Just thought
I'd say hello in the meantime! :)

Cyberhugs,
Cyd :)

By the way, Judith, you aid something a few posts ago about my poetry, and
how you were reminding me before I left? Check out Lavonne Murphy's page (L,
could you repost that location, please?), after I posted it here, she posted
it there! :)
