By today's standards it seems totally unbelievable, but it was once this
way.

Sex for women was only a "DUTY" as a wife, to give her husband sex
whenever, wherever, and however he wanted.

It was "WRONG" for women to think about, talk about, desire, initiate,
and enjoy sex just as much (if not more) than men, because "good little
girls" didn't have orgasms.

the late 1960's / early 1970's, hippie, swinger, sex, drugs, rock 'n
roll, make love not war, free love flower children crowd that ruled San
Francisco at the time, knew that the above was total and very unhealthy
bullshit. They discovered that women have the capacity for unlimited
sexual response, a desire for sex that is equal to if not greater than
that of men, and the same right to sexual fulfillment.

In the book "For Yourself", Dr. Lonnie Barbach reports: "Research by
Arvalea Nelson indicates that consistently orgasmic women tend to
describe themselves as contented, good-natured, insightful,
self-confident, independent, realistic, strong, capable, and
understanding, while non-orgasmic women tend to describe themselves as
bitter, despondent, dissatisfied, distrustful, fussy, immature,
inhibited, prejudiced, and sulky."

Thank You hippie chicks. If it wasn't for you (and the hippie dudes who
were more than willing to work with you), women might still be stuck in
the horror above. You are the reason why women can and are allowed to
enjoy sex today. Those baby-boomers who were in their 20's in the
1970's, are in their 60's today. 3 of them that i know still look like
young 40 year olds, and 2 of them are hardcore cougars.

Note: A recent news report said that the baby-boom era was from 1946 to
1964. Really? I though that the end-date was 1950.

You know, it just occurred to me that from a feminist viewpoint, if Mikayla
M. isn't a man in disguise, she might represent the first female troll on
Usenet. Since Usenet is dying anyhow, maybe we should celebrate her as
such!

At the risk of being <plonked> myself, I'd assumed she was female
because no man, gay or straight, would use webtv :-)
