There.
After much care to make a nice job, I had it, seing how some huge gaps and
holes were left here or there, either between the new frames and the wall
or where they ripped the larger window sills off, putting in narrower
windows, or under and on top plus side of windows which are smaller than
the old ones.
In the end, it was like ÔThis is not my place.I dion't have to do perfect
for those morons. If they wanted perfect, they could have done a neat job,
nah!'
I then ended the whiole thing but ended up taking all the care I could, of
course.
Only difference being that some spots were so deep, it woudl have taken
like 4 times to gradually fill the holes. I filled them, some flush, some
with still an indent, and will leave them that way. I have too much to dp
to fiddle with that and wait 48 hours each time for the next application.
Even now, it will be days before I can paint the new window frames. Walls
I had already painted were so badly dented or scraped, etc, that it is all
to be done again.
Now for a break before tryign to figure out how to have a bath with no
curtains in the window, and without making the caulking all mushy. But
Iwill have to wash myself each day for work, so, tough luck to the
windows, nah. Course I wanna do thebest I can, but there are limits.
And that is that.
Windows beign oil paint, I will needdo them all at once. TFor that reason,
and because Titant lands on window sills, which will make it deadly to her
and her feathers when I am at work, if she ladbns on wet oil paint.So
gotta do upstairs all in oen shot, ad keep dowstairs seperated, so once
upstairs is dried and all, I can lock her in some room while downstairs is
done...
Titan is furious at me. She will not let me touch her, for havign
negl;ected her so much, poor bby...Ecven to giove her her food by the
seringe, she will beak me madly, up to thelast minute.
She is so mad at me, she will not even leave her bnest when I offer her a
break to go stretch. I caiughther walking and taking a break earlier as I
walked downstair: as soon as she saw me she sulked and flew on her nest.
Got the entire laundry to do if I can even FIND my clothes to wash them
with the mess they ddid in the bedroom:(, throwing every pile that was
neatly folded mixed with the linen, etc, that was on my bed, all in a mess
on my bed too.
Also need to wash the aquarium filter. That will be more than too mucyh
for today;-).
My troat and lung feel like they might have cnacer or soemthing. Gawd, is
it ever annoying. The scent I do not smell, but the caulking being latex,
I am sure itr must smell and irritate my throat and lungs.
My ear still drives me nuts...
Lovely, is it not, this wonderful life;-):).
Oh well.
So friggen tired of putting in efforts for landlords. Each tiem I fixed a
place, my lease was ended for soem reason of theirs or for some hike of
rent, where they then woudl rent more expensive to the4 next person. I
used to fix walls, stairs, make yards beautiful, grow grass, trim edges I
woudl plant, you name it, even strip old paint and brign things back to
natural wood. But here, all I want it to try and make it clean, after a
lot of illness and incapacity made it turn into a pig pen. Not that nad
right now, with all the work I did, but to keep the cleaning up with the
mess of painting and so on is just too much anyway, so it will fast mess
up again. And I do not feel like sweeping floors or washing them right
now, gee I woder why.
After the windows are done, in a few months depending on the weather each
weekend, of course (need to open windows and doors to be able to breath),
then I re-end each of the two rooms I had already done, the washroom and
pc room all over again and this timeI deided I would finish them with even
frames on the walls, decotrations, you name it, to at least feel like work
is done and makes a difference.
I'll focus on tryign to keep those two clean while messing about all th
others trying to attack them next.
I reallyv like the colors in the pc room though.....
Tired and tired of my throat and ears and now either a lung or a muscle
cramping at my back, anyway, bugging the life out of me. But at least my
heart si not hurting lately,. which is great progress.
Fpr the rest though..Nothign seems to help, or when it does, here goes
irritants again, like paint anbd perfume at work most of all...:(
Beautiful day. Turned out not cold at all this afternoon, Figures;-).
Fleh... work and getting up at 4:15 tomorrow morning.....
Not that I slept much later on the week off: the birds are so used to
being up by 5 A.M. that they woudl scream madly for me to get up and feed
them and remove their banket off their cage. Sigh...
One day my bedroom will be done and I will be able to sleep in there.
In the meantime I ache all over from sleeping in a too short couch, always
on the same side, always with my knees hurting and my back too in the
mornign from sleeping so twisted....
Oh well. Bath then pedicure and manucure to remove caulking if any left
(sure must be udner my feet, I workled barefoot).
Then tv a bit to breath before forst laundry load.
tv again, then aquarium filter, then other laundry load, tv, fold clothes,
brak, then third load of laundry and nighty night....
Phew.
Makes for boring weekends when so nice out and can not go out still wiht
the earcache....Still is around 4-6 C at night, and the ground still is
quite cold....
