Still waiting for news, i.e. written confirmation.

Had follow-up call, by person who met with me, to let me know papers were being done still,

Rumors at times worry me where they seem to be counting on trying to keep me at previous
place, but previous 9actual still) closes down before June, so did not worry me too much.
However, person closing office talked about making me some space at her usual office...as if
counting on moving me there, and this, after I said I had call, that papers were said being
done, approval of transfer now done for other person moving out where I would be going, where
person closing outr actual aplce said that that would be two two weeks notice plus time left
for papers, so 2-3 weeks top...In other words, just on time for me to move before office
closes. Which then makes no sense with my moving elsewhere than that new place they are making
papers for....2-3 weeks being just before June.

Cards did say June 14, did they not....
Hm...

Unless it woudl be that I would have my holidays before transfering, because I like to take
them wherever June 4th falls in a week: last two years that was a wodnerful weather time....
Just about what we are having ow, but with the ground warm and not so soaked, so as to sit and
tan a bit after lng long months without anythign to call sunlight...

Or unless it would be soething pops up unexpectedly...

Trying to remember what cards said....Hmm. I think there was soemthign about a short time
transfer then another place June 14...So maybe they or events simply will stretch me two weeks
where I woudl ahve to move two places of work before being at the one on the 14th? Or maybe
1th of june indicating payment might just be forst pay over there?

Not a clue, But this talk about 'beign ready ebcause more huge batches were about to come in',
when I have to sort my files and cabinetsand drawers and ebox and so on which I never was
allowed time to do in ...8 years now, dear lord!! Sigh....

In the meantime, the rest have very little to do, and have lots of chit chat time, knowign
sicne months now where they are going, for those still awaiting transfer.

But me thinks person who was sent to close the office does no want to remain alone...

Perhaps I should book two weeks off now, ebcause in new place, people must all have already
reserved for summer....And July and Auguist are too hot for me to enjoy, if I like to take a
long weekend here or there instead of two weeks in summer. But a nice spring is my favorite
time off for sure....then a week early september, and the rest spent just in case, a day here
or there for unforeseen stuff and future plans, or just in case of needing time off for
whatever might come up...

That could be a way....But I still would need the two weeks to close MY office, sicne it
pretty much comes back to closing office business, sicne I do the job of all those that are
gone, except for regitstration and typing incorrections, if the latter might also fall back on
me too, would the one doing it still be gone before me.


Normally, they woudl have given someone (else) an actign position to do what I am doing...But
they did not for me....Eh. Would have been the least of things. But oh well.

Still, I did not even have time to go do grocery shopping in over 7 weeks, I think, if not 12,
been a long long time sicne I had time to myself on weekdays, and weekends are barely enough
to decompress the brain after whipping myself thin...with a bad bad bug to top it and a coming
and going fever.

Missed more days in the last weeks than I do in half a year normally...
Don't want to start the new place feeling like the livign dead!:)

Anyway.

I beware of those words about 'making room for me at her office at HQ to go on doing the job'
sicne I am supposed to transfer to the new place BEFORE then end of May...unless they arranged
together to slow it down, because it has been weeks now sicne they say the papers are being
done...In fact they were supposed to be 'being done' and yesterda,w as told the transfer of
other person was just now ...approved. Before, was presented as if approved and papers to eb
done by that Friday two weeks ago....Hm....

In the meantime they are checking clearance on my side.
I even had thoughts about maybe they woudl ruin it for me, just to make it so I could not move
there, so they can keep me until when they close......gawd, that would be so friggen dirty....
not to mention completely against all rules and laws....

But saw it happen before, when bosses would refuse me a raise and promotion because they found
me not replaceable....calling a new employer and ruinign it, to try and keep me there, against
all rules.

Oh well.

Shall see.

Maybe shoudl have a look at cards anyway...

Thinking back of how white big boss had turned, not breathjing anymore when I had throw2n
'June 14...Gotta believe in soemthign and so far all they said did not happpen at all as said.
So read my cards and they said clearly June 14.'...

Just looked at calendar. June 14 is a Friday....
Hmm....

And a colleague retiring but where they chose those dates for them, was told she woudl retire
on the 19th.....A payday probably, to make it a clean stop of paychecks before her retirement
pension checks....
Hm....They picked the 19th for her wayyy back. In january of feb was it, they chose her date
to be June 19th.
Then again, had they made it the week after, they would have had to pay her Canada Day, I
guess, and she would have lost one month of pension, too...
The other one that retired already is gone since the 24th...
They picked her date as well, apparently. But their keepign the oen doping registration longer
makes sense in that she can do both that job and that fo the other oen that retired, i.e.
answer phonecalls.

Soemthign is in the make anyway, because I was emailed and asked my pc number by IT. Odd, they
never bothered to replace it, were rude as hell before, and now email politely, asking, with
me replying that my pc was said obsolete wo eyars ago, and has serious hiccups, and this is
its number.

So someone somewhere is preparing a pc for me and talks to em nicely, so he must belong to a
different office IT group...

Had a fit this week, tryign to start packing more things if I could, looking for the
dictionaries I might use less. They were GONE. Again, vanishing books, and always those that
BELONG TO ME, that I bought out of my own pocket:( Makes me sooooooo mad!
Books I need in my profession, but that they do not need in theirs. Just that they want to
have them because they no longer can be found anywhere:(...Grroooooar.

Had hopedto find them here, but nope. None of them.
So infuriating.
AND my Bescherelle was replaced by an old, very very used, outdated, beaten to a pulp old
bescherelle. Mine was brand new state.:(...
Also, I had arrows for places most commonly looked for, tables and all, in each opf those books.
So infuriating that people have so little respect at all. I figure that it has to be soem that
moved out already and figured that they never woudl be caught red handed sicne I would not be
moving with them:(...

But may I say it stinks so much:*(...

What's more is those are allowed in exams, and I might havfe exams coming where I will be at a
disadvantage,oteghr pro0fessionals having way more and better.But at least I had my things and
knew where to find info in them:(....
