Hehehehe...
First time around I climbed to 92, while they were at 26, 11 and zero.
With 8 points to spre before game over, I climbed them all over 83, for
the lowest, 93 for the second, and 103 for the last --if I busted at 100
on that last round, but came in second anyway.
They play three leaguing against one of course.
I stayed at 99 making tem eat dust, thn made a ''chelem'' and gave them
all a nice 26 toadd to teir previous picks:).
The second time around I was at 32, they were at zero to 13.
I was at 32 when I won, and them all over 100, eating 26 points again when
they were in the 70s, hehehe.
Hm. Saturday.
The patio screen door so makes me feel miserable: the screen is taped
-with duct taope of course:)- and the handle, i.e. the locking lil bar, is
missing a screw and dangling. I have to pout a board at the bottom if I
open the patio door, to prevent Titan from accidentally getting lost going
outdoors. But tight budget on this reimbursing my sister her laundry
machine when it is the worst possible time for that, but anyway. So screen
door will have to remain until....6 more wweeks Ifigure at this rate,
before I can catch up on bills and all and then have some to spare on that
Mid summer then, darn it.
The fridge is empty, if I rememebred I ahd not thawed all the chicken the
last time and have some now thawed to cook. But the stove is covered with
objects as happens when one is painting and moving everything around.
The landlord decided to take this long weekend to have the corrdor walls
and doors painted, oil, where the sellis tough on me, but harder on the
poor birds. I then can not for now paint the downstairs ceiling, one more
weekend ruined on that job cause of that:(. Argh!
Did nothing yesterday, was tired and exausted from a week from hell....
Decided to allow myself to recuperate, breathing oil paint fumes (their
paint smells chemicals so friggen strongly, ask me what they add in it to
save money:()...
This morning, I attacked the dishes piled up in the sink: had not emptied
the dishwasher, no time int he week from hell, and so all dirty dishes
were piled up in a mess in the sink and over the stove top. It now is for
most in the dishwasher, the clean dishes in the cupboards.
Perhaps if I hung the frame I got for the study room, made it look really
finished, that woudl encourage me?
Lil painting job of no time to do in the washroom, a second coating on the
linen door frame (previously painted what was supposed to be a crfeamy
beige, color mixed by computer, which turned out to be the ugliest smudge
looking like half salmon, half pink. Ptewie! Woth the nice white wall with
a soupcon of blue and mauve barely showingthrough the white, like a
reflection that still leaves the walls white, it made the pink of the wall
come out ad absolutely look ugly with the smudgy puter mixed paint for the
door frames and plinths. So I redid them in white, but another coating is
required to hide that ugliness.
Ask m what I will do with that full gallon of yukky paint color:(.
(Please don't ask, not a clue:)).
Perhaps I then could have the curtain rod reinstalled in the shopwer
stall, and find in the basement the red wine shower curtain I had kept to
cut to fit to that window.Somehow could not find another brand new red
wine one, and the one I have now on the shwoer rod IS that redwine same
color, so...Would make a match by cutting the old one out which I had kept
exactly in case I'd not find another identical redwine one.Bow to rememebr
where I alst saw it in he basement piles....
Yeah, would be nice if I could get all the stuff back in those two rooms
and make the upstairs look less messy. Ony, I need shelves to do that and
can not buy shelves right now. Sigh....
I could however try and see what wood I have left to cut and add some
shelf in the vanity, which never had any. Still have the old packing boxes
in there since ten years, from the last move! Never could get it dorted
and organized without any space or shelf in there for it all.
I bought lil frames and fans with some Japanese theme in midn for the
washroom...Dunno how well that will fit, shall see....
I am also thinking of cutting the corners of some boards to block the
rounded ''coners'' of the acrylic shower stall, to avoid any water falling
behind it and also to use as shelves in the shower. A bit high, for
shelves, but perhaps actually pants woudl not beso bad on those, never
thought of that before...Some plant liking humidity and light, sicne the
window is right there too....Hm. Showering with plants! Oh, I know: I
wanted to buy a few bamboo stems for the asian touch in there, so they
could go on the end shelf. Keeping the forst for other stuff, as that
would be too close to the hot water when showering.
There is a lot of cleaning and laundry to do, so maybe I should also think
of not going on too fast with the paint downstairs and clean a bit before,
things laying all over the counters, table and even stove top as I said.
Darn, I forgot the yard. I HAVE to mowe (weed eater) that yard and rake
again, since the rains and wind made tos of pine cones fall in there, and
those kill the grass, which right now is long and thick, where it grows.
Under the gutters, which are never cleaned on time and are blocked by said
pine cones, and drip in the yard, eating off the soil and drilling canals
where the grass will die, (already died this eyar in that area), I always
have to sowe new seeds, and that is best done at this time ratehr than
full summer.
I also have to still find my clothes in my bedroom sicne they came and
threw all in a gigantic mess when they changed the window in there:(. It
was piles at the end of my bed, rom the linen and laundry, and piles I was
sortign to rid of some things and keep others, not even in their way, so
ask me why except malice made them do that:(. Sigh.
Been living on the same t-shirts and jeans washed over and over each
evening in a week from hell where I coudl ahve done without that
additional logistic problem.
But for now, I need to accept that I will have to spend on food, as
upsetting as it is on the already too tight budget.
So perhaps thinking of what to buy to not spend too much yet allow that I
am human and will ahve moments of havign to eat soemthign fast to fix in
this messy house--perhaps making a list would be good.
I just don't feel liek starting any of it, that's all....
But I will soon run out of milk, coffee and sugar again, and will have to
get out of here anyway.
I need one more sillicone tube at least. If not too expensive, should buy
2 in fact in case. I have to redo the sillicone aroudn the tub, true. Have
to find a way to remove the old one without elaving stains. And that stuff
seems to not even adhere to the shower stall...Hm.
also have to do the contour of the window above the patio door wiht
sillicone and might as well have that done before I paint the ceiling and
the window frames and patio door frames, though the ceiling is in flat
wsater base paint, and the window frames and patio door in platinum, washable.
Could not keep up with Titan's messes the last two days and that too needs
seen to: she knocked a can of sunflower seeds on the ground in the living
room, by the other cages. A real mess. Her nestign box also needs changed,
and the other two cages and the aquarium filter needs a good cleaning, too.
True, the curtains in the study room do not fit anymore, this window
being longer. But the tp hem was like 5 inches, so I hope I can lenghten
them to fit....
Hm. Perhaps if I made the rod, larger than the window, I then could open
the curtaisn wide enough in daytime to have some of the plants in here
too. Got so many of those downstairs on a second table and on the floor
and gas stove (inoperative right now of course) all waiting for a spot of
their own...But in fact what woudl grow nicely in here with the morning
sun is African violets....
Sh*t. Talking about the gas stove, I keep forgetting that I need to spray
paint it before I do any paintign in the livign room, else the spray might
affect the fresh paint on the wall and ceilings. Dang. I had bought all
the necessary stuff an eternity ago for that one, hoping that someone
experienced with gas stive coud give me advice on how to go about painting
it, if I bought all paints that were not flammable and done for heated
metal and all that....
Darn. Had completely forgotten abotu that one, so that will make the
ceiling downstairs have to wait longer still. ARGH.
Found about 24 new boxes to use to sort the bedroom and nasement when the
time is available for that, and is right for that. All requires such a
timing and chronological order, it often makes me waste time, like right
now having forgotten all about the gas stve needing painted first when I
was thinking of next doing the celing on the first floor.
Hm. No clean clothes at all to go by coffee so before I run outl I should
wash a jeans load....
Gotta wash my winter jackets again, Who'd a thunk it, in mid May, but
people are wearign them again given the weather at times, and if I thought
I had done them all until next wionter, surprise. They need rewashed:(.
I started the same lung inflammation, and it seems linked directly to the
paint in the corridor....They told me they woudl let me know ahead of time
of when they woudl paint the corridor, so that I could take the birds
upstairs and be sure I had not just painted there in the previous week.
But they of course never told me. And they chose MY long weekend to paint!
The weather WILL get much more humid and unarably hot upstairs soon, so
best to finish upstairs anyway, which makes it so it smells paint on both
floors hen:(, due to the corridor between the hosues being painted and
smelling so chemically:(...
Hm. Let's start wiht a second coffee, a load of jeans, and the paint of
the door frame and plinths in the washroom, then.
Shall see after that what I feel up to and what can be done in what order.
Later
