I have CKD & extremely dry, flaking & itchy skin. Drove me crazy. Used
hyper allergenic soap & still had problems. Recently found SUAVE KIDS NO
MORE TEARS, HYPOALLERGENIC BODY WASH. Fantastic. Could tell the
difference after first shower. Itching & flaking down @ least 75%. Less
than $2 for 12 ounces. A blessing. C S

Glad you found something that satisfied. With CKD it's difficult
to get good advice from the medical community. They don't seem to
care much. We have to take a hand ourselves to get anywhere.

Benadryl is an antihistamine. It does help with systemic itching. But as
you are male, (don't know how old you are), It can also cause urinary
retention in males with prostate problems. Also not for those with
glaucoma. It also has a mild sleep inducing effect. IF you should happen
to have any respiratory problems that requires you to clear a lot of
mucus any antihistamine should be avoided or used with caution.

Thank you for your response. I will try the SUAVE first.
Tell me, do you drink it (hehe), use it when showering, or
just rub it on like other skin lotions (I've tried using Vit. D lotion
and others, which help temporarily.)

I know your jesting but of course I shower with the suave instead of
soaps. I tried them all to no avail. Make sure you get the _KIDS_ no
more tears body wash. I did not try the adults as they often are to
harsh. The kids come in flavor scents like strawberry & berry berry but
they do not over power or cause you to smell that way. I bought a case
of it. How's that for a recommendation? Ron

Would prefer no scent, however, if not possible, I'll try a "flavored" one!
