Yup...Stevie is right. This isn't a dating place. However, in an effort to help
(as in...support....), are you aware of the 'herpes code'? 437737 =
H-E-R-P-E-S on a telephone keypad. Since you're on AOL, you can do a 'member
search' and narrow the state to NY and in the first search field that's
something like "look for this anywhere in the profile" you can type this 437737
code. Also, if you're just looking for one sex (being general now, for anyone
else reading this also with AOL) you can limit your search to a specific sex
too. And even cooler, you can limit it to only those online at the time. A
list will pop up of those who 'qualify' and you can IM or email them and see if
you catch any interesting potentials.

The wonders of computers... ain't they grand?

Hmmm... on this I must comment!

I performed this search on AOL, and came up with a disappointing amount
of profiles returned. And my only search parameter was male/437737.

I don't know if there are more women with the code in their profiles,
but just wanted to put in my two cents here!

Well, did you contact any of them? Did you investigate whether any of the ones
that DID turn up were worthy of further effort? I mean...if only one shows on
the list yet the person is a millionaire looking for exactly you... um... how
many do you need?

Besides, I didn't say LOTSA people put the code in their profile, but some do.
For a quick search, it's not a bad way to go? It could be a starting point for
2 people to get together, you just never know.

And more people put it in their profile because I've mentioned it here,
well.... maybe that's a good thing.
