Vaginal pain, itching and drying can make having sex difficult and at
times even impossible. If this happens, it will put a huge strain on
your relationship. These problems can happen because of many things.
However, the most common reason is infection of the vagina because of
Candida.
Candida is also known as yeast infection and it is causes burning of
itching sensation deep in the vagina which is accompanied by a heavy
or abnormal thick whitish discharge. Nearly one third women who
experience painful intercourse have been reported to have candida
infection.
Treatment for candida infection is a lengthy process and it should be
done under the supervision of a medical practitioner. However, you can
eat low carb diet which ends up creating a hostile environment for the
candida yeast bacteria because of which they cannot survive. The best
way to so-call kill the candida from the vagina is by drastically
reducing your sugar and carbohydrate in-take. This means that you will
have to avoid food items like honey, fruit juices, dried and fresh
fruit, sweetened food, milk and other dairy products. You should also
cut out all yeast containing food from your diet and this means no
yeast extract, bread, alcohol, black tea, vinegar and stock cubes....
