and PCR which is a routine blood test that is associated with Hepatitis C
viral detection. They can be either quantitative ('titer') or qualitative.
The qualitative test is used to detect virus anti bodies active in the blood
stream over a certain level while the quantitative counts the actual numbers
of virons in a small sample of blood. So qualitative 'positive' means the
virus is active while 'negataive' means the virus is 'undetectable'.

FNSC - Friday Night Shooters Club

A brief history of the Friday Night Shooters Club: many of us chose/choose
to do our injections on Friday nights, allowing the weekend for recovery in
preparation for getting back to work Monday morning. Of course, we didn't
all bounce off to work Monday morning, tra-la-laing and clicking our heels,
but it made for some fun posts here on Friday nights. To put it another way,
misery loves company ;-)

I still fill my pill box on Friday nights, hard habit to break. Nothing
like getting 90 days supply of Riba at a time and trying to remember if
you've taken them for the night by trying to count the number of pills
left in the bottle. :) I still remember making that post and having
someone telling me to put them in the weekly pill boxes. Couldn't have
thought of that on my own at the time. So the pill boxes were filled at
the same time I took my shot.

Dwight (I really don't miss those times)

You guys crack me up - reminds me of a recent caller on my local radio
show who called in for the topic of Stupid Things You Have Done, who
told the story of how he had been signing his emails for years with
LOL because he thought it stood for "Lots of Love" - picture that
one...

"So sorry to hear the news of Aunt Betty's sudden death. My thought
and prayers are with you all. LOL"

I was LMAO on that one!!! haha!

On a more serious note, Don, re Meds, I found it worked for me using
those little itty bitty ziploc baggies for my Riba and other
pills.....when I would refill my perscriptions, I would go right home,
and do up a days worth of meds per baggie, each mornign all I had to
do was grab a baggie out of the bin and I was set for the day. I
didn't have to go thru the agony and anguish of did I or didn't
I ????? Other people use pill boxes, turing the bottle upside down
after the morning dose and rightside up after the evening dose etc.
Its whatever works for you. Frankly, after a couple of months I no
longer had a clue what my cash card PIN number was, or what my access
code was for getting my voice mails out of my phone. Rather nasty that
way....! ( I don't really miss those times either, Dwight!)

The shots were definitely a Friday Night Shot Club for me, followed by
The Weekend In Bed Club, then managing to drag my sorry ass out of bed
on Monday morning and head for work on Auto-pilot....
:) D

I think Peter's reading comprehension skills are fine, but you might need

stage I'm at I've decided to go ahead with treatment, doc told me if
I'm just stage 1 that I could wait longer for a better treatment, but
what I've read in the Delphi forums the newest treatment their working

If I'm right the testing is done in the USA, I live in Canada and it's

I think I'm going to need a pill box cause my psych. doc just put me
on more pills but I have not seen a pill box with big enough single
compartments to hold them all.

Yes, it went kinda like that for about the first 2.5-3 months.
After that, it was more like Tuesday before I was feeling my "old" self
again.
I was only 50 years old at the time of Tx, but it sure made me feel "old"
sticking
all those needles in.

Nowadays I feel just fine, but still not up to my younger self. I wish I
could
have recovered more like you have. Your face filled in quite nicely,
Spidey.
I'm still looking a little waisted. Still, it's coming back slowly, but
much
slower than I'd expected. My doctors don't seem too concerned about it,
so I guess
I'm okay.

All in all, it was worth. At least I have my life back.

Undetectable after 3 years.
