Hi.

Do you any of you get annoyed when companies, etc. use phones for
required communications especially today with Internet communications
(e.g., e-mails, chats, IMs, and forums)? I don't have a phone, but do
have computers with Internet connections. I really wished companies
would use it. Too bad old school TDD don't work with the Internet. There
should be emulators/translators by now in this era. :(

Thank you in advance. :)

Are you saying you type texts and to make it talk to your VOIP telephone
(free?)? If so, then do you have instructions for that? I'd like to try it.

"What is that?" "Some kind of insect?" "It's an ant." "Girl, you needed
an exterminator. She had ants on her face." "Well, these aren't your
garden-variety dumpster ants." "And they aren't ... to decomp." "Why are
they in her stomach?" "La hormiga culona--leaf cutter ants. It's a
Colombian dish." "Are you saying that people eat them?" "Fried." "Okay,
so we are looking for a club that serves fried ants." --CSI: Miami

I progressed through various solutions to the phone problem. An Ameriphone dialogue XL-50 continues to serve me well and has done for about 20 years (admittedly I progressed to CI during that period). The brand-name seems to have changed to Clarity but a search under Ameriphone will still find it.
Several unique features: up to 50 db amplification, a headphone jack and, for everyone else, it is just an ordinary phone with the usual features.
I avoid phone but, if necessary, I can manage with this hardware.

There are very good regular phones that provide amplification and
perhaps "Audio Assist". Not at all costly. I use one that is no
longer marketed (at&t 919) and it works great for me.

Search or for example, see:
