A BBC Four documentary looking at four brilliant mathematicians whose
genius has profoundly affected us, but which tragically drove them
insane and eventually led to them all committing suicide.

Ed is a celebrity in a way. He's one of the world's most famous
anti-evolution kooks. His vast collection of rocks, which he insists
are fossils that prove man has existed since the Carboniferous Period,
is a source of great amusement for scientists and science-minded
people the world over.

Known for frequently posting his "Hall of Shame", a *very* long (and
growing) list of newpapers, magazines, research institutes and
scientists who've offended him by declaring his "fossils" to be just
ordinary rocks.

Tragically, we can't even call him a miner, comic genius.

If he were to wrap his "bones" in the newspapers, he lists, he could
pretend to own a dog.

A (coal) black Labrador.

It's the way I tell 'em. :-)

But he's actually correct. The rocks ARE from the inside of a human
skull - Ed's.

That petrified brain Ed brags about owning appears to be the one he
does his thinking with.

Since it's the only brain he has, he has no choice.
