Tensegrity is a wonderful exercise program that has a much deeper
benefit than weight loss. It transforms a person. It's a very old
form of practice from South America that might now days be called
"sorcerery", but there really isn't any religious or spooky thing about
it, there's just nothing else to call it.
The hardest thing about exercising is getting yourself to do it. And
the best way to lose weight is by exercising. I certainly don't want
to give up eating. I'd rather work out and eat what I want. But I
could never get myself to exercise regularly.
Tensegrity fits into my daily schedule. It consists of a huge series
of movements designed to produce specific results. They are all
designed to tap into a force that holds us together on a deeper level,
thus the sorcerery effect. On a surface level they isolate various
muscle groups, make them healthy and larger, and that leads to burning
more fat. I lost 40 pounds over the last year, and I didn't diet at
all. Better yet, the remaining pounds are higher in muscle content, so
the 40 pound loss is more like 45 effectively. At the workshops I've
seen people as much over weight as 250 pounds, one of whom is a regular
attendee!
The exercises also restore a person's energy level, because dealing
with energy was the speciality of the sorcerers of ancient Mexico.
This kind of energy is similar to what an average person might mean
when they say, "I have more energy these days", but it's also something
much more than that. As a result of practicing Tensegrity I went from
having one or two dull dreams at night a week, to dreaming constantly
all night, and very pleasant dreaming, never nightmares. That's also
an indication of energy. And lately the exercises have produced a
wonderful tingly feeling in my hands and legs. Particularly, when I
strike with my right hand during some of the tensegrity movements. My
hand becomes so sensitive that I can feel the air currents from the
last movement I did. Lots of fun things like that happen when you
practice Tensegrity, that's why it's easy to do it. Tensegrity is
somewhat like a martial art and you learn about "chi" and "ging",
usually something only taught at very advanced martial art schools.
If you have to exercise anyway, I recommend doing something really
interesting and unusual like Tensegrity.
Carlos Castaneda and his associates will be conducting a Tensegrity
seminar in Long Beach, California (in the greater Los Angeles area) on
February 15 and 16 of this year. The two day workshop will include an
intensive review of many of the tensegrity movements that they have
been teaching at various workshops over the course of the past year.
It doesn't matter if you attended any of these workshops, the effect of
a large group practicing pulls all of the participants to do the
movements correctly. It really does, no kidding!
There will also be short lectures on the topics relating to Castaneda's
unique practice of "sorcery". Castaneda defines sorcery as the
capacity to expand the normal limits of one's perception, and a
sorcerer as one who endeavors toward this end. Tensegrity is the name
give by Castaneda to an amalgamated collection of the magical passes
taught to him and his cohorts by Don Juan Matus. These passes are what
is being taught at the workshops.
You can also just send off for a video tape. The women who demonstrate
in the tape are a bit serious looking, kind of fierce, but in real life
they are the sweetest people imaginable.
For more workshop info or for tape info, you can check out Cleargreen's

information about Tensegrity and the current activities of Castaneda.

If this was spam would I be answering a post?
I know sorcery sounds weird, but that's just because we are all so bad
off. Look around you. Do you really want to root for reality? If
someone comes along and offers a genuine way to change, why assume
they've gone mad?
