Dear Swatman,
Why do I NOT believe that Sharula is who she claims to be ???
For starters anyone who CLAIMS to be 275 years old better have
evidence to back up the claim. She also claims not to have aged since
she was 35 and she does NOT look good for 50.
I am specifically asking for help from people who have KNOWLEDGE of
this person. I am not interested in further justifying that effort. If
you have nothing to say about this - please do us both a favour and SAY
NOTHING.

Thank You,
James Hines

Dear List,
I did not say she IS a 275 year old immortal, only that she CLAIMS
to be.
If you have trouble believing this type the name Sharula into the
search engine at <www.google.com> and check out a few of the postings (I
reccommend the ones at SPIRITWEB). I would NOT bother posting this if I
did not KNOW that she does exist.
Thank You.
Sincerely,
James Hines

Is she living in Mt. Shasta City, next to Mt. Shasta? I live near there.
It seems to be a magnet for strange cult groups, new agers, and healthfood
fanatics.

From the USGS website:
http://volcano.und.nodak.edu/vwdocs/volc_images/north_america/california/sha
sta.html
"Over the last 10,000 years, Shasta has erupted on average once every 800
years. During the 3,500 years the volcano has erupted about once every 300
years. The most recent eruption may have occurred in 1786 A.D."

I wonder how "Telos" and Ms Dux survived the eruptions.

Speaking of ducks, Mt. Shasta is the only place I know of with a duck
crossing sign -- I even saw a duck there once. I am not kidding -- like
those cow crossing signs you see on some country roads, there's a duck
crossing sign in Mt. Shasta City.

I don't mean to make it sound all bad. Mt. Shasta produces some of the best
drinking water in the world, and for that reason alone I wish I lived even
closer to it.

Linda
