Newbie intro and questions

Hello everyone

Just wanted to drop in quickly to say hi and introduce myself to you all
:-) Is anyone still around or am I alone here?

I've just read the FAQ and want to warn you all that I'll be talking about
monthly visits, miscarriage and possible infertility amongst other things so
if you are feeling sensitive, don't read any further!!

I've always (since puberty) been in agony with the monthly visits but I had
a coil fitted soon after being diagnosed and I haven't been in pain since!
Yay! The first question is if the endometriosis can cause miscarriage and
the second is to ask how I can find out if my fertility has been affected...
do I need to see my GP for a referral back to a gynecologist or other
specialist or is there a simpler way to find out?
