I was diagnosed with endo in 2003 and for the most part I am non-
symptomatic. But I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis in my
colon after having a gastro issues and having a colonoscopy. A recent
ultrasound shows I have endometriomas on my left ovary and possibly
other adhesions and another endometrioma where my right ovary once was
(it was removed in 2003). My OB/GYN said she can't treat it in the
colon and can't put me on hormones b/c of my age (41). She is
suggesting only way to treat it is to do a hysterectomy. I am NOT
ready to do that and was wondering if less aggressive laproscopy with
a endo specialist could be an option. I am looking for an endo
specialist in NJ. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Susan
