Right-wingers, under Bush, promised that if we cut their taxes and
regulations, they would reward us with a healthy, vibrant economy.
At the same time, they promised that if we allowed them to behave more
violently, we'd all be safer.
Bush Republicans broke both promises.

Responding to reader questions about if violence is on the rise in the US,
as it appears to be from news stories, several newspapers are compiling data
to identify who is committing violence. Specifically, they wanted to know
what happened in those people's lives, immediately prior to the violence.

What they found is that violence IS on the rise, that it is almost
overwhelmingly committed by right-wingers, and that even they themselves
blame the Bush economy. It's a conclusion shared by over 80% of all law
enforcement personnel.

One of the most common forms of domestic abuse by right-wingers is called
"shaken baby syndrome". This is what happens when a good ole' boy has too
much to drink, coming home on payday. As he recovers from his hangover, the
right-winger's child will make demands on him - for food, water, etc. This
so infuriates the Republican that he grabs the kid and shakes him - until
the child's brain is as mushed as his parent's.

It's a horrific thing to do to a child, so naturally the practice is
catching on like wildfire among Republicans and other right-wingers.
That's what the cops say, anyway.
