I get to sleep late, so that's good. We don't have to be anywhere
until 4pm. Kidlette starts her once a week 'bond with a horse'
camp I helped her riding teacher invent for this summer. Better than
summer camp cause it's once a week and cheaper than summer camp cause
there is no guarantee that there will be actual riding. What there
will be is: mucking out stalls, repairing tack, washing horses,
talking about horses, doing other things about horses I don't know
anything about. That is why she is _there_, so she can do this stuff
and I don't have to *grin*
Then I have to take fritz golfing while kidlette is with horses,
otherwise we would sit and do nothing and that would be BORING. (as
opposed to golfing which is B O R I N G! *wry grin*) The
reason we would have to sit and do nothing is that at 6:45 both kids
have swimming lessons so I'm not going to come back up here and then
go back down.
The SO will pick up kidlette and bring her to swimming while I bring
fritz. We all meet in the lobby for a 'lovely' dinner of pbjs.

At the treatment center we lived in for a year, all the residents got a
horse to take care of while there. We took care of our horse well. We
didn't ever ride it because it hadn't been "broken" and we didn't want
to. We rode someone else's horse three maybe four times while there.
There were also fifteen minature horses there (not ponies, minature
horses, the program director made sure we had it correct) we all had to
take care of, but none of them were anybody's in particular like the
horses. Then there were four dwarf minature horses, and they were even
smaller. One time while we were brushing them, we stepped on a board
with a nail in it, and it went deep into our foot. The other kids seemed
impressed that we didn't freak out about it. We just walked with nail in
board through shoe into foot back to the house to ask for help.

busy. we've never tried to play golf so we think maybe we shouldn't say
it's B O R I N G but we have absolutely no interest

Yeah, and something I can't remember that has an odd name. Not
planking horses...

I think actually PLAYING golf would be less B O R I N G than watching
it, but standing around watching an 8 year old play golf is less
interesting than watching grass grow (hey, maybe I'll just watch the
grass grow on the green:) and having him talk to me and tell me ALL
ABOUT golf while he is playing is even LESS interesting. 'Oh, yeah,
that's a [insert type of golf club here] I see. And it is called a
[whatever it is called] because it is shaped like that. Mmmhmm'
'So, you just did a [insert official sounding word]swing that time and
that is different than a [insert some other official sounding
word]swing because the big toe on your left foot is lifted up as
opposed to sitting flat on the ground. I get it!' *snore* This bonding
with your kids stuff is not like what I was led to believe. Yeah,
yeah, it will pay off in the long run cause my kids know they can talk
to me about anything but by the time they want to ask me about the
evils of drugs I'll be catatonic.

Carrots, grape tomatoes, pea pods, pretzels/goldfish, grapes and I'm
going to hopefully remember to bring a salad for the SO and I to
munch on. Given that the kids will have about 10 minutes to eat I
doubt they will eat much. Probly go out for ice cream afterward though
*grin*

Mmm. Hanovers makes GREAT pretzels like that!

LOL -- this is awesome.

is that a store or brand name?
I dunno. I just post and post and don't worry about it :)

Still can't remember what the term was but apparently they didn't
get around to doing it.
They were my favorite part :)

It's a brand name. We find them in kroger brand stores around here.
Rainbow Colors (Jill)
We see them lots of places, but Kroger brand store is where we usually
buy them. We like the honey mustard broken bits of them, but they break
our teeth, so we've only ever had them twice.
