Intercom started buzzing an hour and a half ago. Lots and lots of
buzzing. We picked up the receiver so it wouldn't loud, listened, two
male voices. Didn't recognise them. Tried to listen, they kept buzzing
hard to make out what they were saying to each other. They didn't hear
us. We were quiet like a good boy.

Started hearing strange taps, someone throwing small rocks at windows of
our apartment. A couple rocks at a time, a couple times before moving to
another window. We got real scared. Too afraid to peek to see them.
Started hearing banging on the back enterance. They trying to force
their way in.

We froze.

Realized our life is in danger. We called 9-1-1. They dispatched ten
police units. We stayed on the line keeping dispatch aware of where they
were, buzzing, rocks, banging, telling her the floorplan, directions,
trying to save us.

Finally saw two cops walking down the alley. Got off the phone with
9-1-1. Police dispatched called and asked that we go talk to them out
the front enterance. Police said they didn't see anyone. Said we could
call back if it started again. We went back inside, our cell phone was
ringing from a text message.

A number we didn't recognise sent a text:

"Fwd: Whau the hell ur going to call the cops on me thats fucked"

We ran back out to show them before they left. Stood in the road with
them while they asked questions. They said by them buzzing only our door
knowing which windows were ours, and knowing our cell number, it's
someone who's been here. Who knows us. They asked if we had made anybody
mad lately. Said no. They asked if we had practical joke friends. Said
no. They asked us to call the number back, got a number not in service
message. They said call if they start doing it again. Said they will
come back tomorrow to make a report on h*r*ssment for the text message.

We came back inside. Think the police left. Another text message comes
in:

"U guys r fucked"

Our t isn't answering the phone. It's off. She must be sleeping. We are
so scared right now. Scared for our life. Is hot and sweaty and we feel
like we're on a tilt-a-whirl. Fighting to stay present. Some want to go
outside. We are scared to d*ath. Wife has gone back to ned now. Small
rocks scattered on our window sills. We are scared. Is anybody here
right now?

There's banging again outside. Almost been two hours since this started.
We are scared. It only makes it more scary that it is an equ*nox
tonight. We are scared. Wish we had someone to sit with. Someone to hide
with. Someone to protect us. Think we are going to d*e tonight. Only
don't know by who's hands.

Think it just made things worse. More complicated. They didn't do
anything. Now we're being thr*atened for it in text messages.

Now that it's light, they weren't pebbles, they were throwing small
pieces of asphalt. Little bits all over the window sill.

Is ok. We need to be stronger. Not need to be babysat or taken care of
by a newsgroup. We are weak.

Kind of. No more banging or anything. Someone slid an envelope part way
under the door this morning around 5am or so is when we noticed the
envelope half under the door. Is a h*l*day card. Had a b*ble verse on
it, and they signed Merry Chr*stm*s and drew a goat head. Made arm hair
stand up. There was a piece of chocolate with it. We tore it up and
threw it away and buried it in thebottom of the trash. Get a text
message once and a while. Can't stop them. We kind of waiting for t to
call or text or we would shut off the phones. We are scared. T's phone
isn't even ringing. The number it says to call for crisis on her
voicemail is just admitting department of the psych hsptl.

We have so much anxiety right now.

Ok. We counted. There are eight. Last time we went to the police station

Doesn't seem believable. Afraid they'll just laugh at us. Nobody
believes a kid. The police last night said they believed us. Said they
saw the rocks. They just didn't see anybody, but they were there. Both
times we went back inside, we immediately got a text message. We h*te
this. How come we can't just be good?

We don't even know who it is. We were too scared to look. We were afraid
if we looked, they'd throw a big rock and break the window. Most we
heard was when they started buzzing the front, we picked up the intercom
receiver and very quietly listened to their voices as they talked to
each other. Two men is what we heard.

T was talking to someone yesterday who wanted to. We were crying because
it was our favorite kind. We can't even afford that kind. T said she
would buy us some. We didn't tell her what kind. Don't want to be
manipulative. We really don't deserve chocolate like that anyways.

but is it a step forward, or a step into a snare trap?

Think ultimately forward. Recruiting help against the bad people at
times when it's clearly-to-others real, or when immediate danger is
significant like that, is good. (Recruiting help from people like
t'pist and a.s.dis is good at any time.)

Doing the things the bad people you want to is the true snare.

Takes courage to save self/ves. Hard to believe it can be o.k. 8-(

Hi ubiquity constellation,

I hope that today you are feeling better. You did the right thing to
call the police. They are able to handle these sorts of situations.

Best wishes,

Peter
