speaking of car, the egr valve still needs to be fixed
haven't gotten around to calling shop to talk to them about it
don't want to deal with that
after neighbor crunched car
and we talked to his insurance company
we had to go pick up sir lala
we were so discombobulated that we forgot to lock up the house
oh well
sir lala complained of headache on the way home
wanted to lie down and get some cuddles when we got home
no fever
got up to go make him dinner and he came out to say he didn't want
wouldn't take pain reliever
suggested would return in 15 minutes and give to him if he wasn't better
he fell asleep
hope he's not sick
haven't been able to open mail going on a week now
or something like that
get that way periodically
and then just throw it on pile on desk
do cursory check for bills and throw them on different, more visible pile
but then the creeping growth of piles on desk gets overwhelming
well, a week isn't that long a time
did manage to be in hyperfunctional mode all day at work the past 2 days
that's good
but now anxious and overwhelmed
it doesn't go away, really
have another cold again
think it's gonna be one of those years
(and it's not even winter yet)
get one cold after another
or maybe it's allergies/asthma
gets difficult to tell sometimes
just whining
that's all
(yeah, right)

just whining
and more
we're still not sleeping well
the eeg stuff helps some
but only for part of the week
we fall asleep but can't stay asleep to get enough
guess it's better to have some nights of reasonable sleep
than to have no nights of reasonable sleep
this morning we woke up with reflux
had tried a month's worth of pills for it
that worked ok
but doc had only given a month
ran out a week or so ago
and now it's starting again
so was up at 4:30
sitting straight up
yuck
but c suggests trying otc prilosec
might as well see if that works
and speaking of eeg stuff
we don't really trust eeg tpist
regular tpist asked us whether she'd given us reason not to trust
said no in session
realized later that we were uncomfortable
because eeg tpist had given us a secret about her the first session
and we don't like having a secret
feels icky
not the particular secret
just the fact that we know it's a secret
she didn't tell us it was a secret
but we know it's a secret
we're still whining
that's all
although there's prolly more
yeah
woke up at 4 this morning
didn't think would fall asleep again
but did doze off
and had messed up dream about getting car repair estimate
involving the aa being home again
and the whole cast of agency characters working with her
and us walking around topless because of forgetting to get fully dressed
and never actually getting the estimate done

sorry for all of it. not whining. is all stuff to make stress. wish it
were better. not fake words to you just not many to say. we take
goldenseal in capsule for when the body starts getting sick. is herb.
works good.
it is thursday. one more day to weekend. maybe you can have an easy
weekend.
betsy, sort of
sorry is hard for you
wish could help
sounds like such an ongoing hard
from all directions
and yet you still give strength to others (like me)
impressive
when is so hard for you
anything we can say or do to help?
thank you for wishes

nope
don't
but we did find out that can get car rental
take to appraiser next week
they'll look at it and then cut us a check
then we go do what we want with it.
can call insurance agent to get rental for when we get car fixed
took to one place this morning
have an appointment to go to another tomorrow
and a third monday
is stressful
figured we'd stop at 3

we don't like having secret
we have to discuss with regular tpist

she said we can talk about it
we see her tomorrow

just answering and hearing is good
not looking for miracle fixes
wouldn't believe one if it happened
just needing attention

I don't know when the last time we actually forgot to lock up was,
although I know of more than one time we have turned around and gone
back to check knowing intellectually that it was locked but not being
able to remember *for sure*.
We do leave keys in the door, though. We didn't for a few years, but
started again this year.

Blood Makes Noise
told tpist secret today
took half the session
she said having the secret seemed worse than the secret itself
(before we told her)
yes
we talked around it for a while
we said could affect eeg tpist's practice
she asked like if folks at work knew about us?
yes
she said she knows about several professionals with mh problems
like a psychiatrist with bipolar
we asked how she knew
she said because she treats some or some partners of folks
she said she doesn't do anything with the information
except if it seems like she might need to get consultation
because of a safety or competence issue
but usually she doesn't do anything with it
by the time we told her, she had already practically guessed it
or at least that it would be something similar
felt better telling her
she said we could leave the secret in her office if we wanted
bit of relief
but now things are getting all crazy at work
gah
never stops
heh
understand
did tell tpist
don't have to obsess about having secret any more
didn't like having secret couldn't tell tpist

we're listening to the collection randomly
and there's *lots* of it
and c keeps adding more
(this is *not* a whine)
so that's why we're sure we'll be adding to this list

people not following through on what they're supposed to do
so now we have sudden urgencies to deal with
blech
and so now we have to finish a report this weekend
so we can deal with the other stuff next week

oh, well
that's good
unfortunately, we have to rely on numerous (tens? hundreds? prolly
tens) people to do what they're supposed to
and some just won't

what the h*ll???

for being multiple, she certainly doesn't seem to have great insight
on how to deal with it. ack!

Of course. She was asking the question for her, not for you. (I've
been guilty of asking yes/no questions like that too, when it's too
soon for the person to tell. I'm working on it. -- that need for
reassurance thing.)

hey! wait!
if you find it you have to share it!
if it's a miracle, it won't matter if we believe it or not.

wasn't thinking of it as for her
you may be right
certainly we had to take care of her
Okay. I'll keep that in mind.
